Description

This Airsoft SVD replica is built to an amazing standard and is without a doubt the finest Dragunov/SVD replica on the market. The Polymers used on the handguard and stock are high density which feels amazing to the touch and keeps a sleek, matte finish across the whole rifle which helps it look and feel like the real deal. The outer barrel assembly, receiver, magazine and fire controls are made from Alloy which keeps the whole rifle locked tight for a smile-inducing experience. As an improvement over previous SVD models, this version is held together VERY tight, which means you have a rock-solid rifle with no wobble, but does mean that the battery compartment is stiffer to access than before. It is accessed by removing the rotating pin from the handguard and also the grub screw from the locking collar. Inside you will find a Mini Tamiya connector and plenty of room for a slim LiPo Crane Battery.

The rifle shoots great at ~328FPS (manufacturer downgraded so this may vary) in both Semi and Automatic fire modes, and the adjustable iron sights combined with the potent HOP unit means you can reach out and touch players at long distances, especially when combined with heavyweight BBs (0.25g+). True to the original weapon, the iron sights are easily adjusted by squeezing the button and sliding the rangefinder forward to raise the iron sights, which can be very effective when combined with a dialled in HOP. The Rotary HOP is accessed via the charging handle and is easily adjusted by simply holding it open and turning the adjustment wheel. The magazine included is a 200rnd high cap which again, is made to very tight tolerances so can be a bit stiff to open! The cheek pad on the stock feels great and helps complete the overall look, helping you with a comfortable view down the iron sights. The SVD features the stereotypical 'Dovetail rail' on the side of the receiver which can accept side rails or proprietary optics like the PSO to complete the 'Special Forces' look.

If you're looking for a DMR which is ready to go out of the box and is different from your run on the mill AR platform rifle then this may just be the thing you're looking for.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
