Compatibility-wise, this kit is designed for CYMA AK AEGs of the CM.04x and Cm.05x series using the VFC external construction style. It may fit other VFC-style AKs but won't fit AKs based on the TM AK-47 AEG (CM.028, CM.5xx, CM.03x & JG AKs) nor will it fit AKS-74U AEGs. Based on a super-slick modern AK chassis from the US Civilian Tactical marketplace, the 5KU CNC Aluminium MK3 M-LOK Chassis for CYMA AK AEGs is a fantastic way to modernise your AK. Compatible with CYMA CM.04x and CM.05x AK AEGs with the exception of AKS-74U rifles, this kit replaces your handguard and receiver top cover, offering a plethora of M-LOK slots and a lengthy 20mm Picatinny rail on top, ready for your red dot sight or scope.
The handguard features M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock with extra rows of M-LOK at the offset angles, giving you loads of options for positioning your accessories. The 20mm Picatinny rail running along the top of the handguard meets the top cover rail seamlessly, though you won't be able to bridge your optics between the two if your AK is in "top-wired" configuration.
