Code: WE23-L

  • 5x 6.03mm Tightbore inner barrel
  • Insane ROF: 36 rounds per second
  • 11.1V LiPo battery ready

If you dream of an Airsoft juggernaut loadout, this is the primary you need! The WE23-L Rotary Minigun AEG; Arm-mounted is another unique design from Well, part of its "PRO" line of high-end AEGs and based on the positively epic WE23-S. The -L model replaces the standard pistol grip and handguard with a wrist brace and forward-mounted grip; allowing you to wild this monster with a single hand and opening up the opportunity to dual-wield and bring unrivalled firepower to your next skirmish.

On the inside, the WE23-L is rocking the same awesome internals as the -S model. The 5 inner barrels are all 6.03mm tightbores, granting a small increase in FPS and improved accuracy potential. The 5 HOP-up units are all independently adjustable, making use of a rotary design to apply adjustments. The bearings are 8mm, meaning smooth running and low friction, and the Minigun is also compatible with standard AEG HOP-up buckings and inner barrels, just in case its performance isn't already enough for you!

Hitting out at a phenomenal 36 rounds per second on an 11.1V battery with an autowinding 1200rnd high-cap on tap, the WE23-L Arm-mounted minigun is without equal when it comes to in-game firepower and is built like a tank as a bonus, making use of some of the best machining and strongest polymers we've seen on an Airsoft gun. Whether you're working on a CWIS loadout, a juggernaut kit or just want to make lots of enemies at your next game, the WELL PRO WE23-L Rotary Minigun AEG; Arm-Mounted is your ideal primary!

Description

If the WE23-S Rotary Minigun impressed you, the WE23-L will blow you away! Like the original WELL PRO WE23-S, this beast puts out an astonishing 36 rounds per second at 290 FPS, making it a serious game changer and an intimidating foe to face down with. Unlike the original, the Arm-Mounted model is designed to be held in a single hand via its wrist brace, making it even more suitable for a beastly juggernaut loadout and opening up dual-wielding opportunities!

The WELL PRO WE23-L doesn't compromise on skirmish performance by being huge, heavy and unwieldy; being only 3.5kg unloaded and only 50cm long, this minigun won't make you suffer unnecessarily while bringing some serious firepower to the table. The wrist brace distributes the weight effectively, and the result is a novel handling experience with insane performance to back it up. You almost definitely won't be allowed to use this in CQB, but for other roles, there is nothing like it in this price range!

Starting at the front we can see 5 outer barrels, bound together with an aluminium ring to keep things stable and straight. The outer barrels are also constructed from aluminium and have threaded tips concealed beneath thread protectors. The spacing between each barrel is quite tight, so we doubt you will fit 5 tracer units on at once, but there is nothing stopping you from mounting one or two for a realistic tracer shot every few shots to confirm your point of impact, though we recommend going for the shortest and lightest tracer units you can find.

Moving rearwards, we come to the handguard which is constructed from rigid high-density polymer with a textured surface feel, indicating fibre reinforcement. The handguard is cylindrical in shape and boasts M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock positions, with 3 pre-installed 20mm Picatinny rail sections for M-LOK. This allows you to add mission-essential equipment such as flashlights and lasers without adding the excess weight associated with 20mm quad-railed handguards.

Following the handguard we reach the receiver which is also constructed from high density polymer, keeping the weight down and the strength high. The receiver is relatively featureless, with no ejection port, charging handle or fire selector to be found. The fire selector switch is located on the pistol grip on the top of the receiver, offering a 90-degree throw between safe and fire. The switch sits right beneath your thumb for fast access and is present on each side, perfect for left or right-handed juggernauts!

The wrist brace follows just behind the grip at the top rear of the receiver, allowing you to support the weight of the WE23-L using your forearm alone, reducing fatigue while keeping your other arm free for another minigun! The wrist brace includes a polymer loop with a velcro strap and is adjustable to suit almost any arm size. Walking around with even just one WE23-L on your arm is an absolutely unique experience; add a second one and you're most of the way to an ED-209 loadout!

The rear of the receiver features a substantial sling point, allowing for slings of various types to be mounted for extra support. A second sling point is present on the grip, allowing you to mount a two-point sling and switch to a sidearm if you manage to drain the gargantuan 1200rnd autowinding high-cap magazine!

On the bottom of the receiver, we can find the magazine well, but no magazine catch. This is because the mag catch is positioned on the front of the magazine itself, easily accessed from either side. The magazine supplied with the Minigun is a spring-assisted high-cap magazine which winds up using the internal motor of the Minigun itself, meaning no need to faff around winding a wheel, just dump your mag as fast as you can!

The magazine indexes at the rear and rocks in to lock at the front, similarly to an AK or FAL platform, but this is where the similarities end! To fill the mag, you will need to remove the rear plate to expose the fill window. Removing the rear plate is far easier than any other AEG box mag; simply squeeze the two tabs on either side of the central "bar" on the rear plate and it comes straight off, together with the large internal spring. Remove the entire assembly, pour your BBs into the mag,  reinstall the rear plate and you are ready to shoot!

The battery compartment is located inside the receiver and is accessible by pulling the metal screw tab on bottom rear of the receiver, after which the compartment can be hinged open. Inside, you will find a Deans/T-plug battery connector to which you connect your choice of battery. We recommend an 11.1V 1450mAh LiPo but you may be able to fit bigger batteries inside if you are careful when installing them.

If you're working on a juggernaut kit, Fallout-style Power Armour kit or anything else that requires extreme firepower, this is the primary you need. The original WE23-S Mingun surprised us all, not only with its absolutely intense 36RPS firing rate but also its superb build quality. The WE23-L variant brings the same firepower and quality to the table with unique ergonomics, making its firing experience unlike any other Airsoft gun available. Finally, a minigun you can dual-wield!
