Description
This maintenance kit is decked out with all the crucial equipment you need for keeping your Airsoft replicas in their optimum condition. If you keep the externals shiny and the internals well maintained, you are sure to thrive on any battlefield. Out-perform and outstyle your opponents with this Novritsch Maintenance Kit Gen2.
THIN SILICONE OIL
Its viscosity of 100 centistokes makes it great for all moving rubber parts. It keeps the rubber smooth and doesn't slow down fast-moving parts like the piston.
THICK SILICONE OIL
The viscosity of 1000 centistokes is excellent for maintaining the air seal of your platform and its magazines. It's especially great for static parts that do not move in the gun like the cylinder head, hop-up unit, gas blowback magazine lips, o-rings, etc.
MECHANICS OIL
The mechanics oil's purpose is to minimise the friction of metal or polymer parts. It's also great to protect steel parts from oxidation.
RUBBING ALCOHOL
This is an excellent solvent that evaporates fast after usage. It's great to keep your barrel and hop-up bucking clean and dry. It can also clean any dirt from other parts of your favourite airsoft gun.
SCREW GLUE
A lot of airsoft guns rattle and vibrate during skirmishes which can result in screws coming loose and eventually falling out. With the medium-strength thread lock Screw Glue, you can avoid that from happening. Screw glue ensures that all your screws will stay securely in place, even with the constant vibrations of shooting. You can still loosen up the screws by hand after they have been glued.
CELLULOSE WIPES
These wipes are great for cleaning your inner barrel. Due to the strong material of the wipe, they can be used for cleaning or applying oils to your gun parts. Unlike standard tissues, these will not rip nor will they leave any residue or fibres inside your gun or its barrel.
SILICONE GREASE
This is great for lubricating Pistons and O-rings. Silicone Grease is used for parts which generate lots of friction between them. This grease is more likely to stay in place when compared to oils due to its thicker consistency. It is ideal for gears and piston racks in AEGs.
COLLAPSIBLE CLEANING ROD
The collapsible rod is built from 6 individual pieces. This means its length can be adjusted to sizes of 10/20/30/40/50/60 cm, making it brilliant for pistols and rifles alike. The rods are also engraved with a ruler scale, ensuring you can control the depth of your cleaning and prevent any damage to the precious internals.
NYLON SLOTTED TIPS
These slotted tips can be used in combination with the Cellulose Wipes to clean the inside of the barrel. The slotted tip can also function as an unjamming tool if any BBs were to get stuck inside the barrel.
COTTON MOP BRUSHES
These are very handy tools for polishing the barrel, keeping it shiny and clear of debris.
HANDY BAG WITH ADDITIONAL SPACE
The Bag of the Gen2 maintenance kit has a zipped pocket where you can store your own additional tools or accessories. This is useful for potential spare parts or batteries, keeping them all in one convenient location.
