JJ Airsoft 1P87 Russian Red Dot Sight for 20mm Picatinny Rails

If you're looking for an exciting optic to finish off your modern Russian build, the JJ Airsoft 1P87 Russian Red Dot Sight for 20mm Picatinny Rails is the one. Styled to match the real steel Jupiter 1P87, this red dot sight is constructed from aluminium with steel trim parts, adorned with realistic Cyrillic markings and the unique aesthetic which screams Ruskie!

The 1P87 is equipped with an integral 20mm Picatinny rail mount, meaning is ready to mount on AK-12, PP-19 and other 20mm railed platforms. If you want to mount it to an AK-74, you'll need an AK Side Rail Mount. The mount works very similarly to most Eotech replicas, with a thumbscrew on the left which needs to be loosened to position the 1P87 on your rail and tightened down once in place. 

Windage and elevation adjustment is provided by a pair of dials which require a flathead screwdriver to turn. The windage dial is on the left side and the elevation dial is on the front. Illumination adjustments are applied via the dial on the right side, offering 15 brightness settings for the red-illuminated "Military" reticle. Settings 1-12 are ideal for daylight use, and settings N1 through N3 are intended for use at night and in low-light environments. Having such a wide range of brightness adjustment is a fantastic feature, allowing you to get the best reticle clarity possible in any ambient lighting conditions. 

The reticle itself consists of four horizontal bars positioned similarly to a crosshair, allowing you to lead moving targets and take precise shots by placing the open centre of the reticle on the target. If you're turning and burning at close range, simply put any part of the reticle over the target for faster target acquisition, just like its Western relative, the Eotech. This is the most common reticle type present on Russian military-issued 1P87 sights, giving you maximum realism, even while aiming!

The 1P87 is powered by a single AA cell (not included), making it economical to run, especially compared to CR123A-powered red dot sights. The battery compartment is on the front, accessible with the cap unscrewed. Helpfully, the direction of insertion is indicated on the top of the housing in laser engraving, just like the real deal.
