If you feel lucky and want to try your hand with an Airsoft revolver, the HFC HG-133B Savaging Bull Gas NBB Revolver will give you what you need. Functioning just like the real thing, with a rotating cylinder, realistic mock shells and a double action/single action trigger, the Savaging Bull is ideal for those who want to experience revolver life without getting in too deep.

This is the standard black version of the Savaging Bull, offering a more discrete and professional wheel gun than the blingtastic Silver version. Despite its more subtle colouration, this Savaging Bull is just as menacing with its modern angled barrel shroud complete with stylish ports.

Constructed from ABS polymer with choice alloy and steel parts, the Savaging Bull is light and portable despite its relatively long 5-inch barrel. This means it is easy to carry along with your usual sidearm as a last-ditch backup platform, giving you 6 extra chances to get kills when your mags run dry. This may not be the most powerful handgun in the world, but it looks the part and is probably the most affordable way to get the realistic revolver experience!

Description

"Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well to tell you the truth in all this excitement I kinda lost track myself. But being this is a . 44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and would blow your head clean off, you've gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?

The HFC HG-133B Savaging Bull may not be a Colt Python, but if you want to feel like Dirty Harry in game, this is the most affordable way to do it! This gas-powered NBB revolver works just like the real thing, with a moving cylinder, double action/single action trigger and removable shells which hold a single BB each. Naturally, this means this will be a very challenging platform to skirmish with, but with a challenging platform comes the most rewarding experience!

Starting at the front, we have a seriously aggressive swept-back front end, with the barrel up top and a steel muzzle weight just below, shrouded in ABS polymer. The muzzle weight serves to reduce muzzle flip in a real revolver and also helps keep the muzzle down in the HG-133B when it is fired rapidly with its double-action trigger.

On each side of the outer barrel, we can see engraved markings reading "SAVAGING BULL" in stylised text, mimicking the real steel "Raging Bull" revolver from Taurus. The Savaging Bull is much smaller than the real steel Raging Bull but carries over its menacing aesthetic and overall shape without being super bulky and hefty.

On the top of the Savaging Bull, we can find the iron sights which are simple open iron sights with a squared front post and a wide rear notch. These sights are fixed in place and are not adjustable but perfectly adequate for this relatively low-power platform intended for target shooting and close-range encounters.

Moving rearwards, we come to the frame which is also constructed from ABS polymer and includes a moving cylinder which rotates every time the trigger is pulled or the hammer is cocked. To open the cylinder and get to the shells,  you can push forwards on the textured cylinder release and the cylinder will swing out to the left side. The cylinder release also functions as a hidden trigger lock safety by pushing it rearwards, giving you an added level of security when the revolver is stored.

To extract the shells, the easiest way is to place a thumb on the cylinder and your index finger on the tip of the cylinder axis pin. With this done, pushing the pin towards your thumb will eject the shells inside. A single BB is loaded into the front of each shell, giving you a mere 6 uninterrupted shots before a challenging reload. This makes the Savaging Bull a tough platform to use against AEGs and GBB pistols but great for the skirmisher who wants to test their skills, rack up humiliation kills or carry a last-ditch backup pistol which is reliable, lightweight and easy to carry.

With the cylinder loaded, you can push it back into place in the frame, after which you have two choices when it comes to shooting. Cocking the hammer will prime the trigger in "single action" mode, giving you a shorter trigger pull for more accurate shots. Pulling the trigger without cocking the hammer will rotate the cylinder, cock the hammer and fire the shot all in rapid succession in what is known as "double action".

The hammer and trigger are both constructed from alloy to provide extra strength where needed, and the hammer is a "spur" type with a textured section on the top for improved gripping qualities. The hammer even has a realistic mock firing pin which extends when it is cocked. Moving downwards, we come to the grip which is styled after the Raging Bull but slightly smaller to match the sizing of HFC's Savaging Bull. The grip has comfortable finger ridges on the front and dot-textured panels on either side for perfect wet-weather handling.

The gas fill valve is located on the base of the grip, and as with a GBB pistol magazine, the pistol needs to be inverted to fill. You should get a decent number of shots from a full gas fill thanks to the NBB action which is extremely gas-efficient. We recommend standard green gas(NUPROL 2.0, ASG Ultrair, VORSK V6 etc) for regular use and red gas or VORSK V8 for use in colder weather.

When only a revolver will scratch that itch, the HFC HG-133B Savaging Bull is here to provide the wheelgun experience on the cheap. Whether you're using this as a skirmish backup or simply to play around with at home, the Savaging Bull gives you the true revolver experience and the thrills and spills that come along with it!
