Description
The Golden Eagle MC6595M is a Gas Blowback rifle powered by Green Gas, featuring full metal construction, an ultra-sleek modern M-LOK handguard, and an extremely realistic firing experience. If you have never fired a GBBR, you are missing out, imagine a GBB pistol on steroids...that's this rifle! With every shot the full-sized realistic bolt carrier slams back against the buffer and spring, providing immersive recoil; and when your magazine is empty, the bolt will lock back on the bolt release catch, indicating that you have an empty rifle, just like a real AR.
Starting at the tip of the barrel, we can find an alloy muzzle brake style flash hider, providing a modern and aggressive look to the business end of the rifle. The muzzle brake can be easily swapped for a Suppressor, Tracer unit or another muzzle device which mounts on 14mm CCW male threads, which are provided at the tip of the alloy outer barrel. The outer barrel of the MC6595M is 9.5 inches in length, containing a 250mm inner barrel to provide a handy, compact package which is optimized for close ranged encounters, but the inclusion of an adjustable HOP unit provides the additional range to engage targets at greater distances. The rotary HOP adjuster can be found on the underside of the outer barrel, and is accessible when the SMR style M-LOK handguard has been removed. The handguard can be removed from the right side of the rifle, by removing the two large Allen bolts, after which the handguard can be pulled forward over the barrel and off the rifle. The handguard itself provides M-LOK attachment slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, with attractive M-LOK style vents at the other angles of the handguard, completing the lightweight, skeletonized look. M-LOK rail sections, vertical foregrips and rail covers can be attached with ease wherever you need them. The handguard also provides a long Picatinny rail at the 12 o'clock position which mates seamlessly with the receiver rail, providing plenty of attachment space for longer optical sights, PEQ laser units, and Red dot and magnifier combos. The rifle comes supplied with flip up aperture iron sights which are adjustable for both windage and elevation, providing a fine rear aperture which can be quickly raised and lowered without tools. The sights come pre-installed to the rifles 12 o'clock rail, but can be easily removed and replaced with an aiming device of your choice.
The receiver of the MC6595M is similar in form to every other AR out there, with the exception that because it does not contain a gearbox, the receiver can be realistic sized. This results in a slim feel to the rifle, and a positively skinny pistol grip, marking this out as a GBBR and making it genuinely hard to distinguish from a real AR. Obviously, this doesn't make it better or worse for skirmishing, but if you are like us and appreciate attention to detail and faithfulness to the real article, you will feel a strange sense of satisfaction handling this bad boy. The rifle's pistol grip is of a standard A2 finger ridged style, complete with checkering to aid in grip, but is also realistically sized and is compatible with any pistol grip for the WA or G&P GBBR system, and real AR15 grips with minor modification.
The MC6595M has familiar AR15 controls, but with ambidextrous functionality. The Selector switch appears on the left side of the lower receiver, above the pistol grip, and is mirrored on the right with a cut out selector to prevent the switch from digging into your hand when in the Semi-auto position. The fire selector provides 3 positions, helpfully marked SAFE, SEMI and AUTO, and has a 90-degree throw between the fire modes. Like the real AR15, this rifle cannot be placed on SAFE when the hammer is not cocked, so if you want to safe your rifle please do not force the selector switch, if it won't move the rifle probably isn't cocked!
The rifle's magazine release is also present on both sides, and can be actuated with the tip of the trigger finger for either right or left handed users, making reloads easy for the southpaws amongst you, as well as those who like to transition to the left shoulder to take right hand corners in CQB. Between the fire selector and the magazine release there is a steel piece on either side, which is not present on most AEG AR15s, and most may not be familiar with it. These pieces are known as "anti-rotation links" and serve to connect the pins in the fire control/trigger group to prevent them from "walking out" under the recoil forces of firing. Whilst this GBBR does not have the same amount of recoil as a real AR, it is not far off! As such, this helpful inclusion from Golden Eagle may save you from losing a pin in the field!
The charging handle, which can be found a the top rear of the rifle, is also ambidextrous, and is of an enlarged design, ensuring when you need to use it (and being a GBBR, you will need to use it!) you have fast, easy access in a high-stress situation. The only control which is not ambidextrous on this rifle is the bolt release catch, which can be found at the centre of the left side of the receiver. Whilst there are aftermarket solutions which allow the bolt release to be operated from either side, this isn't strictly necessary, as the right handed user can release the bolt with their thumb after inserting a fresh magazine, and the left handed user can do the same but with their trigger finger, with no modification needed to the rifle's controls.
At the rear of the receiver we can find a 6 position AR15 buffer tube, with a Crane style stock mounted to it. This buffer tube is compatible with any aftermarket M4/AR15 stock designed for an AEG, as well as real steel stocks designed for "Milspec" buffer tubes. The receiver is closed off with a plain receiver plate, but this can be replaced with sling plates designed for the Airsoft GBBRs. Please note, AEG sling plates are not compatible with this rifle. The crane stock mounted on this rifle has a low profile adjustment lever, reducing the chances of a snag, and features QD sling points on either side, which can be used together with an M-LOK sling mount (not included) to attach a 2 or 3 point sling. The butt plate is rubberized, and features deep linear checkering to ensure the rifle stays firmly in your shoulder under the intense recoil forces of this GBBR!
The MC6595M is based on the Western Arms GBBR design, the original GBBR, and regarded by many as the most realistic GBBR system out there. The rifles fire control parts are a spitting image of the real AR, even down to the shape of the hammer itself. The bolt carrier is realistically sized and packs plenty of weight, giving this rifle is jaw rattling recoil. One of the weaknesses of GBBRs in general tends to be their bolt catch, which eventually wears away and stops functioning. Golden Eagle has seen to this, by providing a steel bolt catch out of the box. This GBBR is compatible with Western Arms magazines, G&P WOC magazines and any other GBBR magazine designed for the WA system, although it will work best with Golden Eagle branded magazines.

Further Information
Special Instructions
This is a Gas Blowback rifle and functions very differently than an AEG. Rapid firing will cause gas to vent, this is normal and is part of the operation of the rifle. This rifle cannot be put into SAFE mode without first cocking the rifle. If your selector switch will not go into safe, DO NOT force the selector switch, this will break the trigger components.

Joule Charts
Special Instructions
These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.
FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
Tap the tabs below to open the relevant chart for your replica.
This table should be used for reference, and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, and is the equivalent of 350fps, using 0.20g BB resulting in an upper limit of 1.14j.
