- The latest ARP556 platform
- Side folding skeleton stock - CHFS system
- G&G MIG inside - MOSFET Integrated Gearbox
CQB Experts and ARP9 fans, you're going to want to check this out! The ARP556 3.0 is here, bringing the same energetic performance as the ARP9 3.0 but with a 5.56 style receiver for compatibility with standard M4/AR-15 magazines. If you held out on the ARP9 3.0 because you don't want to buy more mags, get this one, it's just as epic!
Inside the ARP556 3.0, you will find a generous selection of pre-upgraded parts, including G&G's new MOSFET integrated gearbox, known as the "MIG". The MIG features G&G's new MOSFET system which is smaller and more efficient than ever before, and a QD spring guide to allow for easy power tuning without needing to take the gearbox apart. Other innovations include a new side folding stock system, known as the CHFS, and a new double-feed magazine. The other awesome G&G pre-upgraded internals remain, including the epic 25,000 RPM high speed motor which is ready to provide the thunderous rate of fire the ARP9 and ARP556 are known for.
If you're searching for the ideal CQB primary, this is practically it. With a bite-sized external form but king-size performance, the ARP556 3.0 is a piece to contend with up close and will be an asset to any aggressive outdoors skirmisher who values an intense rate of fire and lightweight yet rock-solid build!

Description
If you've been waiting for the phenomenal ARP9 3.0 in 5.56 flavour, here it is! The ARP556 3.0 Enhanced Combat Machine is the slightly bigger bother of the ARP9 3.0, boasting the same super slick Conductive Hinge Folding Stock (CHFS), exceptional G&G high torque motor, slim M-LOK handguard and MOSFET Integrated Gearbox (MIG) as the 9 but with M4/AR-15 magazine compatibility for those who refuse to change!
The 3.0 is every bit as potent a skirmish primary as the original ARP556 and ARP9, with the potential to dominate any CQB scenario with its super snappy trigger, compact and agile front end and 11.1V LiPo compatibility. When it's stretching its legs outdoors, the ARP556 3.0 can use burst mode to enhance hit probability and even a menacing drum magazine, the perfect pairing for its devasting rate of fire.
Starting at the front of the ARP556 3.0 we can find a super compact micro suppressor, giving us the recognisable snub-nosed look of the original ARP9 and ARP556. We would be lying if we told you this suppressor dampens the muzzle noise; if anything it seems to have become louder! Beneath the micro suppressor, we are treated to 14mm CCW male threading on the alloy outer barrel, meaning the ARP556 3.0 can play to its strengths and mount a tracer unit for some game-winning intimidation factor for close quarters skirmishing.
The micro suppressor sits slightly recessed into the aluminium 5-inch M-LOK handguard which provides a 20mm Picatinny rail up top which mates with the receiver rail seamlessly in a "monolithic" style, and M-LOK negative space attachment slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. This means you can either directly mount M-LOK accessories to your handguard or add M-LOK 20mm Picatinny rail adapters to use the more common 20mm Picatinny accessories. This handguard is a new design and features wider vent ports than the original for an alternative look, and a slimmer profile to match modern slim handguards. The upper rail comes with flip-up aperture iron sights pre-installed which can be used as a primary sighting system, left flipped down as backup sights or removed entirely if you prefer to spray and pray!
Moving rearwards, we reach the receiver which is constructed from textured high density polymer, mimicking real steel "billet" receivers with their modern, angular surfaces. On the left side of the magazine well, we have recessed G&G Combat Machine markings, subtly showing off the ARP556's pedigree. The forward assist button and mock brass deflector on the right side of the upper have also been reprofiled for a cutting-edge aesthetic, avoiding the "plain Jane" receiver design of a standard AR in favour of something more stylish.
The controls of the ARP556 3.0 will be familiar to most, making use of the same receiver design as the prolific M4/AR-15 platform. The fire selector is positioned just above the pistol grip on the left side, sitting directly beneath the shooter's thumb for fast access from a firing grip. The charging handle, which provides access to the Rotary HOP-up unit, is located at the top rear of the receiver, just like an M4/AR-15, and is ambidextrous to allow easy access for both left and right-handed shooters.
Pulling the charging handle rearwards will open the ultra-modern polymer dust cover and retract the mock bolt, locking it in place for easy HOP-up access. The HOP-up unit of the ARP556 3.0 is G&G's latest rotary design, building on the standard rotary unit with a slightly larger adjustment wheel with deeper grooves in its surface, allowing you to get more purchase and avoid struggling with mid-game adjustments. The HOP-up allows you to tune the ARP556 for your chosen ammo weight, looking for the flattest possible trajectory. Once your adjustment is applied, simply hit the bolt catch on the centre left of the receiver to send the mock bolt home with a satisfying "clank".
The magazine release is the usual M4/AR-15 style push button which is mirrored on each side of the receiver, allowing left-handed shooters easy access to this essential control. Both release buttons are textured for optimal grip and positioned easily within reach of the trigger finger when the ARP556 is held in a firing grip, one of the characteristics the M4/AR-15 is favoured for.
The new ARP556 3.0 grip is another change, and now has a more vertical angle to provide a more comfortable position for the wrist when paired with the short CHFS stock system, allowing for better ergonomics in the ARP556's natural habitat; cramped CQB skirmish sites. The grip has linear serrations on the front and rear, and grip texture on either side along with a G&G logo, meaning you have all you need to keep the ARP556 3.0 firmly within your grasp as you sprint around clearing rooms like a man possessed!
Next up we come to the stock, which is one of the most innovative aspects of the ARP556 3.0. The stock is known as the CHFS system, which denotes Conductive Hinge Folding Stock. As you might assume, this means the stock has no external wires to get caught, and the wiring runs hidden inside the hinge itself meaning no matter how rough you are when folding and unfolding the stock you will never chop your wires by mistake. This means you can effectively have your cake and eat it too; enjoying the benefits of an ultra-slim snag-free stock while avoiding having to use a battery box or external battery which would complicate the setup and take up rail space.
On the inside, the new ARP556 3.0 keeps all the good things from the original and its little brother, the ARP9 3.0, including its 8mm ball bearing bushings and 25,000 RPM high speed motor and throws them into the new MIG, aka MOSFET integrated gearbox. The new G&G MOSFET retains the enviable functionality of the original, including the option to program the fire selector for 3 round bursts and its electronic trigger contacts which give a near-instantaneous trigger response in semi-auto. The MOSFET also protects the trigger contacts from power surges and allows the pre-tuned internals to function reliably with an 11.1V LiPo battery, resulting in a positively terrifying rate of fire more akin to a minigun than an SMG!
If you've been eyeing up the ARP9 3.0 but you don't want to buy new mags, the ARP556 3.0 is made with you in mind. With the same super slick compact form as the 9 but with common and always available M4/AR-15 magazines, the ARP556 3.0 will continue the G&G ARP tradition of dominating CQB sites for years to come!

Joule Charts
Special Instructions
These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.
FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
Tap the tabs below to open the relevant chart for your replica.
This table should be used for reference, and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, and is the equivalent of 350fps, using 0.20g BB resulting in an upper limit of 1.14j.
