Description
The Next-generation Spec-Ops bump helmet from FMA is constructed from robust, high-density polymer, with a smooth matt finish to prevent reflections and glare from giving your position away. The helmet comes pre-fitted with the new, lightened ARC rails with grooves and vents to reduce strain on your neck, and a polymer Wilcox style NVG/action camera mount with an alloy insert for extra strength. ARC rails can be used to mount Picatinny accessories with the appropriate adapter, and can also be used to mount ear defenders as an alternative to wearing them beneath the helmet. This simplifies donning and doffing your headgear, with less to get tangled, and less fiddling if you have to kit up in a hurry!
The helmet is a vented design, being based on helmets used by special forces for maritime operations and other situations where having ballistic head protection is a secondary concern. The helmet comes with a chinstrap suspension with a soft foam pad at the rear, meaning you can tighten this helmet down without choking yourself or cutting off your circulation. Included with the Next-generation Spec-Ops bump helmet are a set of modular adjustable pads, which can be placed wherever the user desires using the included self-adhesive velcro patches. The helmet's design also includes cut-outs near the ears for ear defenders, or active hearing protection headsets. Included with the helmet are a set of exterior velcro pads for adding morale patches, unit markings, and nametapes.
