The FAST MH Helmet from EmersonGear is a close reproduction of a popular Ballistic helmet commonly worn by Special Forces and Special Police operatives around the world. One of the best features of the FAST MH is its suspension system, which is closely based on the OCC Dial system. This suspension is extremely well regarded amongst real operators and Airsofters alike and provides an excellent range of adjustment and comfort. The Dial at the rear of the helmet suspension can be used to tighten the helmet's fit, allowing you to pop the helmet on, secure the chinstrap and adjust as usual, then crank the dial down to lock the helmet to your head. "Lock the helmet to your head" may seem like an exaggeration, but once this helmet is set up correctly and adjusted it does not move at all, offering optimal comfort and no change of the helmet rolling around on your head as you run!

The front of the FAST MH helmet features an NVG mount, which can also be used to mount a GoPro or similar action camera with the appropriate mounting hardware. Also included is a blanking plate which can be installed into the mount when it is not in use, protecting it from damage. Built into the ARC rails are two bungee cords, which when stored hook into slots on the NVG mount, but can be used to provide additional retention for your camera or night vision device to ensure that if the mount fails for some reason, your expensive hardware does not go crashing straight to the ground!

The helmet accessory rails, also known as ARC rails, can be found at either side of the helmet above the ear cut-outs, and provide multiple functions. The ARC rails have a specific goggle strap mount built in, which can be threaded through the elastic on your goggles and allows them to connect directly to the helmet's rails. Included in the box is a secondary goggle strap mount for larger straps which connects to the ARC rail slots themselves, and can be used for larger goggles or lower face protection such as a mesh mask. Also included is an ARC to Picatinny rail adapter, allowing you to mount any Picatinny railed accessory.

The use of the OCC dial system is a particularly useful feature for those who intend to mount an action camera on the NVG mount at the front of the helmet. Adding additional weight at the front of the helmet can often cause other helmets to become unbalanced and thus unstable on the head. The OCC dial on the FAST MH guarantees that the helmet will not slide around on your brain container if you choose to document your skirmish for the ages!

The FAST MH also comes with female velcro attached to the outside of the helmet, allowing hassle-free mounting of velcro-backed morale, nationality and unit patches, as well as helmet lights should you choose to tart up your lid. The velcro provides plenty of room for a name tape on the rear as well, ensuring your teammates can identify you when wearing this very popular style of helmet. The padding inside the FAST MH is modular, and can be moved or removed depending on the shape of your head for optimum comfort.
