Description
CYMA brings us an Airsoft replica of the instantly recognisable M4/AR15 platform used by the US Armed Forces for several decades, together with an absolutely massive following in the US civilian tactical scene. The CM.515 is a cost-effective AEG carbine with the looks of a modernised M4, boasting a free-floated mock KeyMod handguard to complete the look. The price may have you thinking "this can't be any good", but the truth is, you will be very surprised by the performance of this cost-effective AEG!
The CM.515 features a Mock KeyMod Style rail system, which comes with a full top-length 20mm RIS / RAS Rail, allowing you to attach a variety of sights and scopes to the AEG, giving plenty of customization options. We would recommend that you grab yourself a red dot or holographic sight, but the rail is also long enough for attaching zoomed sights and scopes should you want one. The CM.515 also has two front side rails designed for torches, lights and lasers as well as a front bottom rail for Grips and Bi-pods. The body of the gun features a functional mock charging handle which is used to expose the HOP-up.
The end of the barrel features a removable mock flash hider which reveals a 14mm CCW threaded outer barrel allowing you to attach a wide range of Airsoft suppressors and tracer units to give the replica more unique or more tactical look.
Internally the replica features full metal V2 gearbox, with a polymer piston and reinforced steel 8mm bearings for extra reliability, and a 6.03mm inner barrel for range and accuracy. The gun also features a fully adjustable hop-up unit, allowing the amount of spin placed on the BB to be adjusted giving the gun a longer range. The hop up unit works by pushing a small contact patch of rubber into the path of the BB before it travels down the barrel, causing the BB to spin. This spin creates a cushion of air as it travels, giving the BB a more stable and accurate trajectory.
The CM.515 features a multi-position adjustable stock which can be adjusted to accommodate for different height users, and features a rear sling plate, allowing a variety of slings to hold your gun should it be dropped or to free up both hands for activities. The stock is of a 'crane' design, allowing a 9.6v NiMH crane battery or a 7.4V 1450mah LiPo battery to be added, giving plenty of power and lifetime, and the battery compartment can be accessed by removing the rear rubber butt plate and sliding each stick down the slots at either side of the stock.
CYMA's CM.515 is great as it accepts a variety of M4/AR15 Airsoft magazines, which are the most common type in Airsoft, making it easy to buy spare magazines. Included in the box is a 300 round high cap wheel wound magazine to get you started and get skirmishing either indoors or in the depths of the woods!

Please note that the rail is a simply KeyMod style, and will not fit KeyMod parts.
Please note, the buffer tube sling plate on the CM.515 is constructed from polymer and we do not recommend using it as it may not be up to the task of supporting the weight of the AEG, especially with a single-point sling. We recommend using the sling slots on the stock and pairing them with a rail-mounted sling point affixed to one of the included 20mm rail sections.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.
FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.

This table should be used for reference, and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
