  • Ready for 20mm Picatinny accessories

If you're just starting your Airsoft journey and looking to get involved without spending too much, you're in safe hands with the CYMA CM.513 M4 SD RIS AEG! A proven platform made even better in its latest iteration, the CM.513 is part of CYMA's "Sport" line, rocking a lightweight and handy build with no performance compromises, ideal for those with less physical strength or those who like to conserve energy!

The alloy version 2 gearbox inside the CM.513 is equipped with 18:1 standard ratio gears running on 8mm steel bushings, a type 1 cylinder, reinforced polymer compression parts and a quick change spring system. Also inside is a 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel and an updated rotary HOP-up unit, giving you above-average accuracy potential and the latest HOP-up unit design for M4/AR-15 AEG platforms. All internal parts are standard Tokyo Marui AEG spec, meaning the sky is the limit when it comes to upgrades later down the line!

Externally, the CM.513 is inspired by real-world integrally suppressed M4/AR-15 rifles designed for stealth in a close-quarters environment. The handguard is a 20mm Picatinny quad-railed example, ready for vertical or angled grips, lasers or tactical flashlights. The receiver is also railed and ready for a red dot sight or scope but comes with flip-up iron sights to get you started. If you've been searching for an affordable, reliable and well-equipped Airsoft primary for your first foray into the sport, the CYMA CM.513 M4 SD RIS AEG is one of the best options out there!

Description

Our current batch of CYMA Sport AEGs are supplied with a USB Charger and an 8.4V 1100mAh NiMh Battery. While these items are perfectly functional, we recommend using a 7.4V 1300mAh LiPo battery and a LiPo Balance Charger for faster charging times, a longer lasting battery and improved peformance. A brief reminder never to leave your battery on charge unattended and always use a Battery Safe Charging Bag

if you're searching for an entry-level Airsoft rifle to get you into skirmishing on the cheap, look no further than the CM.513 M4 SD RIS AEG from CYMA. The AEG comes out of the box sporting remarkable shot-to-shot consistency, pointing to a well-tuned gearbox and is equipped with some surprising pre-upgraded parts, especially considering the price!

While it may be very affordable, the CM.513 doesn't compromise when it comes to in-game performance, equipped with an alloy version 2 gearbox with 18:1 standard ratio steel gears running on 8mm steel bushings, offering out-of-the-box reliability and full compatibility with standard AEG upgrade parts. Also inside is a quick change spring system for easy power tuning and a 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel paired with an updated rotary HOP-up design, giving you far above-average accuracy potential and the latest HOP-up design for M4/AR-15 AEGs.

Externally, CM.513 is equally well equipped, rocking an integral suppressor for a touch of sneaky styling, a 20mm Picatinny quad rail RIS handguard, a 20mm railed receiver and adjustable M4/AR-15 crane stock, giving you a mission-ready feature set ready for a host of accessories but equally effective when ran slick. If your sights are set on Airsoft skirmishing but you don't want to break the bank, the CYMA CM.513 M4 SD RIS AEG is a fantastic choice!

Starting at the front end we can find a pre-installed polymer suppressor which covers the 280mm 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel, mounting to the 5-inch alloy outer barrel. This gives the CM.513 the look of an integrally suppressed AR with a compact front end, making it easy to take corners in CQB but with the long-range performance of a carbine length setup. The suppressor mounts to 14mm CCW male threading but due to the inner barrel length, a barrel extension measuring approximately 7 inches will be required to mount a tracer unit.

Surrounding the suppressor we have a polymer 20mm Picatinny quad-railed handguard with 20mm rails at the 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock positions, ready for any 20mm accessories you choose to add to complete your mission. Styled after the real steel KAC RIS, the handguard has a realistic look and is ready for vertical or angled foregrips, aiming lasers, tactical flashlights and any other equipment you choose to add to customise your setup. Unlike similar integrally suppressed platforms with KeyMod or M-LOK handguards, you will never have trouble mounting mission essentials to the quad rail of the CM.513 as it doesn't require clearance between the handguard and suppressor!

Moving rearward we reach the receiver, a standard M4/AR-15 milspec design with a 3-position fire selector switch and all the details a proper replica needs. The receiver is constructed from high-density polymer with a matt black finish and features a unique serial number just above the trigger. The fire selector switch is located on the left side of the AEG and sits directly above the pistol grip to provide fast and easy access for right-handed shooters. The fire selector's 90-degree throw between modes makes it quick to operate but not too easy to accidentally knock it and end up in the wrong fire mode. Each fire mode is indicated with recessed text, reading "SAFE - SEMI - AUTO", just like a real M4A1 rifle.

At the centre of the left side of the receiver, we can find the "ping pong paddle" dummy bolt release catch which doesn't have a function in an Airsoft AEG but is included to keep the externals looking realistic. The bolt release is a separate part which is a nice touch to avoid the tell-tale signs that this is an Airsoft gun and not the real deal. Over on the right side of the receiver, we can see what is known as the forward assist button, located on the upper receiver behind the mock shell deflector. This button also has no function but serves to force the real M4/AR-15 bolt carrier into battery if it fails to close due to dirt ingress. The button can be pressed and is also a separate part, keeping things visually accurate to the real thing.

The magazine release is on the right side of the magazine well and is ideally positioned to be pressed with the trigger finger from a firing grip for right-handed users. Left-handed users can use their support hand thumb to press the release, and this can be done quite fast with a little practice. The surface of the mag release is textured to provide the necessary gripping qualities, and is protected from accidental presses by the "magwell fence", a raised protrusion in the receiver which stops the mag release from catching on your gear as you move.

The CM.513 is packaged with a 300rnd High-capacity magazine which can be filled through the fill window on the top of the magazine body and tensioned via the winding wheel on the bottom. Wind the wheel 5-10 times or until you hear the noise change, after which you can insert the mag and get busy! If you notice feeding stop, wind the wheel again to continue shooting.

At the top rear of the receiver, you'll find the charging handle of the CM.513  which doesn't need to be pulled before the first shot. Instead, this serves to open the dust cover and retract the mock bolt carrier, revealing the rotary HOP-up adjuster inside. The adjustable HOP-up unit allows you to adjust the amount of backspin applied to your BBs and tune the CM.513  for your ammo weight of choice, looking for the flattest possible trajectory. We recommend using 0.25g BBs as they are great for both indoor and outdoor skirmishes. As part of our latest batch of CYMA Sport AEGs, the CM.513  improves over the earlier version with the rotary HOP-up design, the latest and greatest design for M4 AEGs offering improved accuracy and ability to hold its setting under the vibrations of full-auto fire.

As we reach the rear, we come to the 5-position M4/AR-15 buffer tube, offering 5 adjustment positions for the pre-installed Crane stock. Adjusting the stock is as simple as pressing the lever on the bottom and sliding it into your position of choice, accounting for almost any body type or loadout.

The prolific Crane stock features comfortable sloped cheek pieces and a rubber butt plate for optimal traction in any weather conditions. Also built into the Crane design are a pair of sling slots for "strap" slings but you can add a loop of paracord to allow hook slings to be mounted. Between the stock and receiver, we have a polymer CQD-style sling plate but we don't recommend using this with single-point slings as it puts a lot of strain on this polymer part. If you want to run a single-point sling, we recommend adding a metal CQD sling plate in place of the pre-installed polymer example.

The stock also serves as the battery compartment of the CM.513, ideally suited to crane/nunchuck configuration Airsoft batteries. To access the battery compartment, simply press the two tabs at the toe of the stock together and push them through, after which the butt plate should come free. Inside, you'll find a mini-Tamiya battery connector. We recommend a 7.4V 1300mAh LiPo battery or a 9.6V 1600mAh NiMh battery, both in crane/nunchuck/butterfly configuration.

The set includes an 8.4V 1100mAh NiMh battery and a basic USB charger, though if you're going for an aftermarket battery please ensure you're using the correct charger for your choice of battery. To install either the included battery or an aftermarket crane/nunchuck battery, first, insert each cell group into the tubes on either side of the stock, then connect your mini-Tamiya connector. With this done, pop the butt plate back on and you're ready to rock!

Inside, the CM.513 is very well equipped for the price, boasting full Tokyo Marui M4 AEG compatibility as a bonus. Inside, you'll find an alloy version 2 gearbox with a quick change spring system, 18:1 standard ratio steel gears running on 8mm steel bushings, reinforced polymer compression components and a type 1 cylinder.

Also inside is a 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel paired with the latest HOP-up unit design for the M4/AR-15 AEG platform, known as the "Rotary" type. The tightbore barrel improves accuracy potential and air-efficiency and the rotary HOP-up provides less side-to-side shot deviation for a tighter grouping downrange, especially in full-auto.

If you're getting into Airsoft on a tight budget, the CYMA CM.513 M4 SD RIS AEG is the perfect starter platform. A lightweight but well-equipped external build with respectable out-of-the-box performance, pre-upgraded parts and built around the ever-reliable M4/AR-15 AEG internals, the CM.513 is one of the best value AEGs on the market right now!

Special Instructions

Please note, the buffer tube sling plate on the CM.513 is constructed from polymer and we do not recommend using it as it may not be up to the task of supporting the weight of the AEG, especially with a single-point sling. We recommend using the sling slots on the stock and pairing them with the front sling point on the front sight/gas block to mount a two-point sling.

Brought this as my first gun for when me an my lady actually started getting into airsoft and doing skirmishes, works out the box sweet as a nut, but what i love is the customisation you can do with some time and with a little info with this gun but as a first gun for using its chuffing amazing

lovely bit of kit, the paint finish by the guys is brilliant and smooth. It arrived smack on the delivery estimate I was given before I even bought it on the website. I've put some heavier BBs my friend hand (0.28g) and it shoots fantasticly
