Its simple un-marked Iron Sights and its Faux-Wood brown Grip Plates give it the classic WW2 1911 look, and just like the real Grip Plates, the Grips on this AEP replica feature a Stippled Texture, creating an Anti-Slip surface that allows users to have a Secure hold on the pistol. 

As this replica is electrically powered, it is capable of operating in any temperature; unlike its gas blowback counterparts which can struggle in colder temperatures. The pistol also has the ability to switch between semi automatic and fully automatic by changing the selector on the left side of the frame, which can easily by activated by your thumb. 

As this AEP uses the standardised AEP type stick magazines, users of other AEPs can combine their magazines together, and not have to worry about compatibility.

The weapon features an adjustable Hop-up unit, allowing you to adjust for range, windage and elevation. 

Just like the Battery, the Hop Up is reached by removing the top slide (instructions down below).

Special Instructions

Safety

The Safety is independent from the Fire Selector. The Fire Selector is a Thumb Lever located on the Left Hand Side of the Pistol, just above the Grips. Semi Automatic is the Up setting, Fully Automatic is the Down position.

Safe removal of the slide

As you look at the pistol showing the slide lock / release lever, this is most important in order to not damage the pistols frame.  With the pistol in your right hand with the barrel pointing to the left, move this lever downward, it only moves a little bit, but in doing this, it allows the top slide to be moved forward around 5mm, this is crucial in order to remove the top slide correctly without breaking the fragile rear tags that are part of the gun lower frame.

Once you have moved the slide forward on its frame, lift it up and forward to remove it from the pistol, and you can then fit the battery.

To re-fit the slide, please make sure you position the top slide onto the frame in the same forward position, before moving the slide backward into its correct position, once the slide is backward as far as it will go, ONLY THEN, move the slide lock / slide release lever back into position.

DO NOT force the slide straight down onto the gun, doing this will break the two tabs that hold the slide onto the gun, and will invalidate any warranty on the pistol.

All AEP pistols are checked by us before sending to the end user to ensure they are in good condition with the tabs intact as such we would unfortunately be unable to accept the return of the item if it has been damaged in this manner.
