This Airsoft Electric Gun is a robust replica of the Knight's Armament SR-25 Designated Marksman Rifle, which accepts a battery in the rear of the stock and comes out of the box at 350FPS with both Semi and Full Automatic function. Previously SR-25 replicas have been plagued with Gearbox-locking issues related to the poor trigger quality and use of low-power batteries, but thanks to the Microswitch Trigger and MOSFET this is a thing of the past. This SR-25 has an amazing trigger response and decent rate of fire thanks to these parts, and for the price really can't beaten against other SR-25 replicas.

The Suppressor at the end of the gun is made from Aluminium, as is the Handguard, Receiver, Outer Barrel Assembly and Fire Controls. The Pistol Grip and Stock are Polymer as you would expect, but are a high quality and high density Polymer which is very tough and feels great to the touch. The Suppressor is a quick release design which can be removed in seconds by pulling the release tab and sliding it off the end. It is spring-loaded and flies off as soon as you release the tab to make it very easy to do, but does mean that the outer barrel underneath is easily scratched. Due to this function being tested at the Supplier and again when it arrives with us means that your outer barrel will most likely be marked on arrival. The Handguard is a four-point 20mm railed design which is unique to the SR platform, and offers plenty of room for accessories. The top of the receiver also has a 20mm rail for the addition of Scopes/Optics, but comes with a set of Flip-Up Ironsights installed out of the box. The Gas Block even has a very short 20mm rail to mount a Laser/Torch as close to the bore as possible. The rear of the rifle features a Solid Stock which offers plenty of battery space for most sized batteries, however the battery door is quite tight so we recommend a stick battery for ease of use. To access the battery compartment, press the button on the offside of the stock and pull the butt pad outwards. There is a traditional sling loop on the stock, but also a QD Sling Socket if you wish to use a Quick Release Sling. The adjustable HOP can be found behind the mock bolt as with any AR platform replica. Pull back on the charging handle to open the dust cover and access the Rotary HOP adjust. The mock bolt catch is functional, and the bolt release on the nearside of the Receiver needs pressing to return the mock bolt forward.

Internally, this Airsoft Electric Gun has a wealth of up-rated goodies which make the replica excellent value for money. The inner barrel is a 500mm 6.03mm precision barrel, the reinforced V2 gearbox features a full Steel teeth Polycarbonate Piston, CNC Machined Steel Gear Set (13:1) 8mm bearings, CNC Machined Aluminium Silent Cylinder and Piston Head, Bearing Spring Guide and a High Torque Motor. The Gearbox is a Quick Change Spring design for easy power changes, and the combined MOSFET and Microswitch Trigger make for an excellent Trigger Pull and user experience, with features such as low-voltage cutoff to prevent locking of the gears, a common fault with other brand SR-25 rifles.

Included in the box is a 7.62x51mm style magazine, which is a spring-fed medium-capacity design that requires BBs to be loaded in from the top using a standard Airsoft speed loader. If you love the SR-25 platform but don't want to go through the hassle of upgrades to get it working how it should, then the CM.098 Platinum Edition is exactly what you're looking for.

Special Instructions

Please note that the Quick Release Suppressor design scratches the barrel when it is used. The function is tested both at Supplier and when it arrives with us so it is most likely that the outer barrel will be marked underneath the suppressor upon arrival.

Please note that this rifle has been tested between 345 and 355 FPS. As a three shot average you should be able to pass chrono, but if your site are using a cheap/inferior chrono you may have differing results. If you have any concerns about passing chrono, please contact us prior to purchase.

The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.
