The Air Brake Pin blocks the cylinder head before impact producing an air "cushion" for the piston. As a result, the impact is dampened and the gun is more quiet. Included are 4 different lengths: 20 mm, 23 mm, 26 mm and 29 mm. The longer the length, the more of an air cushion resulting in a quieter shot, but it also reduces the FPS due to more of the air in the piston being used to dampen the impact. AirBrake pins are installed onto the piston head to make shooting the SSG-10 rifles quieter. This results in the 0.62g BB causing no more damage than a standard 6mm BB when shot at equal power and range. If want fast access to your SSE18 when it's sidearm time, the Novritsch Universal Holster Adapter will give you just that. This adapter is designed to work with the Novritsch Open Universal Holster Base and mounts to the 20mm Picatinny rail on the SSE18 AEP. This adapter can be mounted so the holster interface is on the left or right side, making it suitable for left or right-handed shooters, though when positioned on the right side (for lefties) the adapter will protrude past the barrel of the pistol.

While it is compatible with 20mm Picatinny rails, the shape of the adapter dictates a pistol with a square profile and a full 20mm Picatinny rail with at least two slots available. The adapter will not work with standard EU series pistols due to the very specific shape of this adapter and we cannot guarantee compatibility with anything other than the Novritsch SSE18 AEP.
