The CYMA Charging Handle Spring Catch for SMG-5 is a replacement original part for the CM.041 series and will work on the -SD models but not the -K. This part braces the spring inside the receiver and keeps your charging handle tight and in place. If you pull your charging handle back and there is no spring tension and the handle loosely wanders around in the cocking tube, you probably need a new one of these!
