If you love the way the AAP-01 shoots but don't get along with its looks, the Action Army Black Mamba Type A Upper Receiver for AAP-01; CNC Alu belongs on your shopping list! Made from superb quality CNC machined aluminium with steel iron sights, this is the Type A version, furnished with a futuristic hexagonal machined pattern on either side which only adds to its menacing aesthetic.
Up front, the Black Mamba is rocking an aggressive muzzle brake with a dynamic shape which blends seamlessly with the receiver itself, mounting to 14mm CCW male barrel threading at the front. If you want to run a tracer for improved instinct aiming in low light, unscrew the knurled nut at the front to remove the muzzle brake to access the barrel threads.
Up top, we have a pair of adjustable iron sights; a light-enhancing front sight with an adjustable anti-glare rear sight. These sights are fantastic to use and very modern, though the integral 20mm Picatinny rail running between also allows you to mount a red dot sight or scope. On the bottom, we have another built-in 20mm Picatinny rail, ready for your tactical flashlight or aiming laser. The Black Mamba Type A is compatible with both the AAP-01 Assassin and the AAP-01C Shinobi and is what you need to make your AAP stand out!
