This brushless motor was conceived as a more affordable alternative to the legendary Warhead CNC Black Brushless Motor, boasting similar performance at an unbeatable price point. This, the long shaft variant, is designed for standard M4/AR-15, SMG-5, G3 and P90 AEGs.
Like the Warhead CNC Black motor used in Bolster Armouries builds, the Base boasts an ESC (electronic speed control) module which protects your battery, provides low-voltage cutoff and regulates speed to keep the immense power of the Base under control. The primary difference between the Base and the CNC Black is that the base uses a cast aluminium housing instead of a CNC machined one and the stator is wound via machines while the CNC Black is hand-wound.
The advantages of running a brushless motor are numerous, the most important of which is a far higher torque to weight ratio than conventional motors. The lack of brushes means there is less to go wrong and the motor is far quieter when running, guaranteeing a longer lifespan of smooth running performance. That said, these motors are intended for highly upgraded setups so we only recommend them for those who are confident working on AEG internals. Description
If you're working on a budget beast of an AEG build, the Warhead Industries Base Brushless Motor belongs inside! This, the short shaft version is designed for standard M4/AR-15, SMG-5, G3 and P90 AEGs and comes packaged with a D-type pinion gear and pinion spring with pre-mounted spade connectors. Motor installation is a relatively easy job in most cases, but given the sheer power of even the lowest-speed variant of the Warhead Base motor, we recommend doing a lot of research before attempting installation.
Conceived as a lower-cost alternative to the Warhead CNC Black Brushless motor, the Base uses a cast aluminium housing and machine-wound stator to keep the price low while providing comparable performance. The magnets used for the Base are the same level of quality as those used in the CNC Black, making it a great alternative for those who want to save a few quid on their high-performance build.
Like the CNC Black, the Base is equipped with an ESC (electronic speed control) module which can be replaced easily thanks to its modular design. This circuit controls and regulates the speed of the motor while providing low voltage cut-off and over-current-draw protection, providing an additional level of safety and keeping your battery healthy.
Brushless motors offer reduced heat build-up, reduced mechanical noise when running, improved reliability due to the lack of conventional brushes and improved torque to weight ratio. If you're going for a top-end build, whether it is a DMR requiring high torque for strong springs or an LMG which requires maximum speed, the Warhead Base is the ideal motor!

Upgrades and Downgrades should only be undertaken by experienced players, or Airsoft Technicians. Please note, changing any internal parts of a weapon voids its warranty unless done in-house by our staff.
Please ensure that when fitting parts the part purchased is the correct part, as once a part has been fitted we cannot accept return.
We do know that players love to tinker, so we're here to give you help should you require it, and if needed you can get in touch with our workshop for more help!
Unique Parts
Please note that some parts may be unique to a specific brand of weapon. For example: Parts for an ASG M4A1 may not fit an ICS M4A1.
Parts from the same brand typically have a high chance of fitting, though be warned, some replicas use unique parts, so please ensure the part will fit before you attempt to fit it.
