Theta Optics 3x35 Flip-to-Side Magnifier w/QD Mount

The Theta Optics 3x35 Flip-to-Side Magnifier w/QD Mount is designed to mount to a 20mm Picatinny rail, positioned behind a red dot sight, and magnifies the image and reticle to give you a better view of your target. The included mount is a flip-to-side mount and is spring-loaded to provide fast changes between configurations.

Pulling the silver catch on the left side of the mount down will flip the magnifier to the side and out of the way of your red dot sight's reticle and allow you to engage at close range with no magnification. Pushing the magnifier back into position will magnify the image by a factor of 3, and requires no tools or buttons to be locked into place, simply rotate the magnifier back into position, push it down and the mount will do the rest.

The magnifier can also be used on its own as a spotting monocular and can quickly be disconnected from its flip-to-side mount via the QD lever on the side. This allows the magnifier to be stored in a pouch until needed and remounted quickly and without tools, saving weight on your primary when you don't need the magnifier and allowing for greater agility without needing to make that decision in the safe zone.

The QD mount also allows the magnifier to be flipped to either the left or right side of your primary and all you need to do to swap configurations is open the QD throw-lever, remove the magnifier from the mount, rotate it 180 degrees and remount it. This is great for left-handed shooters as it allows the magnifier to flip to the left side, clear of a lefties field of view to mirror the default right-handed configuration.

Adjustment for windage and elevation is provided via the two adjustment screws on the left side of the mount; the foremost of which controls the elevation adjustment, and the rearmost the windage adjustment. This allows you to get perfect alignment with a raised red dot sight or an "EO" holographic-style red dot, though your sight setup will need to be zeroed via your red dot sight itself.

The focus adjustment dial surrounds the ocular lens at the rear and is concealed beneath a flip-up lens cover. Removing the cover allows you to adjust the focus to suit your eyes and get a nice clear view of both the reticle and the target. A pair of flip-up covers are pre-installed out of the box and can be removed or left on the magnifier to protect it during storage and transportation.
