Description
These Mp40 pouches are a faithful replica to the ones produced for the German army in WW2, while this replica is constructed with canvas the original was a fabric called Jute which is a heavy Hessian weave. During WW2 the MP40 pouches were made by many different manufactures using different fabrics including Canvas, Leather and Jute.
These are the standard ammunition pouches introduced for the MP 38/MP 40 machine pistol. These replicas are sold as a matched pair (left and right hand side). Each pouch has 3 pockets each pocket holding one magazine so the total carrying capacity of the pair of pouches is 6 MP38 or MP40 magazines.
