SRC Baba Yaga Hi-Capa GBB Pistol

Hi Capa's have certainly gotten bolder and more intense over the years and to continue with this trend is the 'Baba Yaga.' A pistol that not only looks fearsome with its custom slide and textured grip but boasts features that make it fearsome on the field. Its hefty weight make it a perfect companion in the world of competition shooting, constructed from laser CNC alloys to give you that feeling you've got a real beast in the palm of your hand. With impressive and satisfying recoil from its gas blowback action, this pistol is an assassin's best friend!

Where to start with this High-Capa? Every aspect of this pistol seemingly has a talking point. Beginning with the very front we have the diamond textured flash hider, which is fitted over the 14mm counter clockwise thread. The flash hider can be removed should you want to, allowing for a whole range of tactical muzzle devices to be installed such as suppressors or tracer units if the assassin in you is feeling especially stealthy!

One sweet design choice about this Hi-Capa is the angled cut of the slide giving it that sleek aerodynamic look to it, aesthetically leading down to the 20mm RIS pistol rail where you can attach devices such as torches or lasers. The angled cut of the slide also blends in with the front and rear slide serrations used for ease of grip and racking of the slide, for fast loading and cocking. This means that the slide is built in such a way to have as efficient functionality as possible while looking as sleek and modern as they come, machine CNC'd to perfection. Above the slide, we notice the iron sights are light-enhancing fire optic to aid in night time and dim light conditions so no targets are safe in the dark!

The trigger as we can see is of a skeletonised straight-back design, which only needs a small pull to cycle, allowing for instantaneous target dispatching. This works in tandem with the rear beavertail safety in that the pistol can only fire when gripped and the trigger cannot be pulled otherwise. Like many Hi-Capas the rear grip extrudes above the thumb near the hammer for extra grip.

The textured pistol grip is arguably the most eye-catching departure from a regular Hi-Capa. With its unique pattern that wraps around the entirety of the grip, has a sturdy, powerful feel in the palm and allows for a grip like no other, working like magic with or without gloves. The hammer has a skeletonised design much like the trigger to help reduce weight that little bit more at the back. With regards to the weight, the pistol does indeed have a more robust and weight feel to it than the average Hi-Capa, meaning that it is well balanced throughout to give you more control over your shots and improve weapon handling and the ability to switch between targets.

Lastly, we come to the magazine receiver, which boasts a flared design that Hi-Capas are often known for, to improve grip and hold the pistol in place again your palm. The Baba Yaga comes with a 28rnd gas magazine, tested to be firing at roughly 345FPS, however, it does also accept CO2 magazines, but be aware that CO2 action will increase the FPS potentially going over site limits if you are skirmishing.

All in all the Baba Yaga is a unique bit of kit, boasting impressive features, as well a as sleek, edgy and modern design that is both aesthetically a cut above the rest but functionally top tier in terms of handling.
