- M320A1 - US Army and UKSF issued
- 40mm MOSCART grenade launcher
- Stand-alone or weapon-mounted via 20mm rail
If you feel the need to arm yourself with a "noob tube" for Airsoft, a fine replica of the latest and greatest 40mm grenade launcher to be issued to both the US Army and UK Special Forces will be of interest! The S&T M320A1 is a highly modern launcher sporting ambidextrous functionality, side mounted grenade launcher ladder sights and robust yet relatively lightweight construction.
The true benefit of the M320 platform is that it can be used either as a stand-alone launcher, with its included sliding adjustable stock, or as a weapon-mounted launcher with the stock removed to reveal its integral 20mm Picatinny mounting apparatus. Swapping between the two configurations takes mere seconds, so if you are the indecisive type of grenade launcher user this will suit you well!

Description
If you are looking for a grenade launcher to fit with an up to date US Army Ranger, US Navy SEALs or UKSF loadout, the M320A1 is exactly what you are looking for. This modern styled launcher sports ambidextrous controls, side mounted grenade launcher style ladder sights, a 20mm Picatinny rail at the front and a spring-assisted barrel locking mech, speeding up your reloads when compared to the legacy M203 launcher. The M320A1 also comes with some serious added flexibility, allowing it to be used either as a stand-alone launcher with its included sliding stock or as a weapon-mounted launcher with the stock removed. The switch only takes a few seconds, thanks to the quick detachable 20mm mounting hardware.
Starting a the front of the M320A1 we are greeted with a massive alloy barrel with a realistic profile matching the real M320A1 perfectly. The M320A1 is a side loaded launcher, and when the barrel release catch is pressed, the barrel will swing out to the left side under spring pressure, allowing you to remove your spent MOSCART and replace it with a new one, ready for the next kill.
Above the barrel, we can find the mounting hardware for the launcher which is also constructed from alloy and includes a sling loop on either side. This piece also comprises the spring-loaded barrel hinge mechanism, found on the left side of the launcher, and the markings, indicating the real-world projectile, the 40x46mm LV (low velocity) grenade in highly visible and striking laser engraving on the left side. This area also includes the mounting hardware for the pre-installed flip-up ladder iron sights, which can be flipped up by hand to provide a ladder style aperture and a front sight post. These sights can be removed from the sight base and reversed to mount on the opposite side for left-handed use, and also be removed entirely if you want to use the M320 as a hand cannon for CQB!
The top of the launcher is where we can find the stock mechanism, which also doubles as the rail mounting apparatus for when you use the launcher mounted to a 20mm Picatinny railed weapon. When it comes out of the box the stock will be attached, and if you choose to keep it in stand-alone configuration, the stock can be adjusted by pressing the adjustment lever, found on the left side, above the fire selector, and pulling the stock out to the desired length. This stock is a simple design, as is dictated by the M320A1's weapon mounting needs, but includes a sling loop placed on the top for ambidextrous use, and a thick rubber butt plate with a deep linear texture to prevent it from slipping off your shoulder during use. The stock can be adjusted to any of 5 different positions, making this launcher suitable for any body type, as well as users of plate carrier vests.
If you want to remove the stock and mount the launcher onto your 6 o'clock Picatinny rail (or any rail, heretics!), all you need to do is extend the stock to its maximum length and lift the latch at the front end of the stock bar, after which the stock can be removed to the rear. Removing the stock reduces the overall weight of the M320A1 considerably, and we are quite surprised at how little the weight of a rifle increases after adding the M320A1, especially when compared to the M203! M320A1s have been sighted in the wild mounted to all manner of weapons systems and also used as a stand-alone launcher, so no matter the configuration you choose to run with it's likely to be real-world appropriate.
Moving down to the controls of the M320A1 we are greeted with an ambidextrous fire selector lever and barrel release catch, and a wide and flat trigger which requires a firm press to actuate the firing pin. The selector lever is found at the very rear of the launcher, just above the grip, and can be reached with the thumb for both left and right-handed shooters. The barrel release catch can be found inside the trigger guard, just ahead of the trigger, and can be accessed from either side without issue. The barrel release also includes texture on its surface, ensuring it can be used effectively in any weather condition.
Ahead of the trigger guard, we can find a 20mm Picatinny rail at the 6 o'clock position. As you will receive it, the M320A1 has a folding vertical foregrip styled after the SMG-7 attached to the rail via two Allen bolts on the bottom. This grip can be used either folded as a conventional horizontal handguard or deployed as a vertical foregrip for greater control over the front end of the launcher and its host weapon. This is a fantastic option to have, either for a weapon mounted configuration or a stand-alone setup, as it prevents you from having to grab the barrel to effectively point the launcher. If the folding grip doesn't suit your style, it can easily be swapped out for any alternative grip which mounts to 20mm Picatinny rails.
The S&T M320A1 is a great choice for a modern military or special forces loud out, that is for sure, but it is also a fantastic improvement on legacy grenade launchers, offering both stand-alone and weapon-mounted functionality, and adding much needed enhancements such as the 20mm Picatinny lower rail and compact overall design. Whether you are all about the look, or more motivated by impressive functionality, the S&T M320A1 will leave you with a grin on your face!

Joule Charts
Special Instructions
These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.
FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
Tap the tabs below to open the relevant chart for your replica.
This table should be used for reference, and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
