Description

The Radian Model 1 has a lovely set of features, starting with the sleek 14" M-LOK handguard designed to flow smoothly on from the billet style upper receiver resulting in an ultra-strong assembly, following on is the upper receiver, which is installed with an ambidextrous magazine release, charging handle & bolt release making for excellent handling no matter your dominant hand or eye & finally the lower receiver which features an enlarged - integrated trigger guard for ease of use when wearing gloves and / or hand protection, an ambidextrous fire selector and a flared mag well which makes for a smooth reload. The Radian features a unique hop up adjustment too, which can be accessed by pulling the bolt back on an empty magazine or manually locking the bolt back, then with the included hop up adjustment tool place it into the matching grooves where the bolt carrier sits into & turn either clockwise for added hop or counter clockwise for reduced hop.

The Radian receiver incorporates one of the innovative features by Radian, that being the Ambidextrous Dual Action Control ( A-DAC ) which allows the shooter to lock the bolt to the rear with ease without having to remove their hand from the fire controls. To operate the A-DAC the user must first pull back the Raptor charging handle, press the right hand side magazine release button & then release the charging handle, this will engage a paddle above the right side which allows the user to release the bolt forward with their trigger finger, which is an excellent time saver as we all know every second in a firefight is precious & returning your rifle to battery is imperative.

The externals of the Radian are assembled with PTS's proprietary PTS enhanced polymer design grip, EP BUIS ( Enhanced Polymer Back up iron sight ) EP Magazine, EP compact stock and an alloy 14" M-LOK handguard. The Enhanced Polymer build that ranges across all PTS builds in both airsoft, simulation & real world firearms consists of a robust & tough polymer construction which is seen as one of the most durable materials currently available & provides the Radian with a presence of being the pinnacle of training systems.

This rifle is clearly a choice for the weekend operator looking for something different & exciting, with the intense recoil & realistic rifle weight you'll be immersed beyond your imagination's capabilities, this isn't just any GBB rifle, this is the PTS Radian.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
