Description

G&G are have been known for their innovation over the and with that experience, they've brought the classic AK74 to the present day, with a wealth of modern redesigns and upgrades to keep this platform more than just relevant, but a cutting edge dynamo, that has all the functionality you need, both externally and internally to stand atop the battlefield.

It tough to know where to start with this rifle, as there's a fair amount to cover. So starting at the very front, the RK74-E sports a sound amplifying muzzle, unique to G&G that augments the sound of your shots when firing, giving the rifle an aggressive 'bang bang bang' when firing, to really let your opponents know who owns the field.

The handguard perhaps features some of the most noticeable upgrades and changes, doing away with the 74 guard of old, the RK74-E comes fitted with an brushed alloy hybrid stock, featuring a 20mm RIS rail along the top and KeyMod rails system on the 3, 6 and 9 o clock positions. This allows you to fit a ludicrous amount of tactical equipment, such as sights, torches, PEQ units, you name it you'll probably be able to fit it and more! The possibilities are practically endless, meaning you can customise this rifle to your hearts content and truly get the gun of your dreams personalised to your exact specifications. The upper half of the handguard can be removed to reveal the battery compartment, with mini Tamiya connector. The battery we would recommend for this rifle is an 11.1v 1200mAh 25C LiPo Stick Battery, as this rifle requires 11.1v batteries (more on that later) so you can get an get an insane rate of fire and live it up with the pros!

Above the handguard we have a closed ironsight for lining up your shots, working of course with the rear tangent sight to let you that this weapon is still in fact an AK, however should you choose to, they can always be removed to add the optics of your choice.

Moving on the body and receiver of the rifle, we have the ambidextrous mock charging handle, in keeping with the real AK. While this doesn't provide any real firing function, it is a nice inclusion to help the rifle look the part and does has the added function of revealing the adjustable HOP-up unit when pulled back. The HOP is of sliding type, adjusted to modify the windage and elevation of your shots , giving you increased accuracy depending on the situation.

A huge draw of the RK74-E is the high tech electronic trigger unit or ETU, which is designed to improve efficiency and response of the rifle's trigger unit, and also allows for the full auto mode to be reprogrammed to three round burst, giving you more control over your shooting. It also allows use of 11.1v batteries, so you lay down a ferocious rate of fire to keep your opponents head down in fear!

The fire select is reached with the trigger finger with the selector being in the easy to use AK style, as is the mag release, which is reached using the thumb.

Behind the trigger we have the pistol grip, which is ergonomically designed with finger and palm moulds for a modernised and reliable grip. Last and by no means least, is the stock, showcase a crane stock design, which is a breakaway from usual AK stocks, that is adjustable with 6 positions, letting you adapt the rifle to sui your body type and aiming position, as well as a rubberised butt stock for extra comfort.

Included is a mid cap magazine, with translucent design to let you keep rack of your rounds, giving you that edge in competition shooting.

All in all G&G gone above and beyond with the RK74-E, taking the classic and iconic AK platform and bringing it into the modern age. With a crazy amount of functionality and tactical customisation found in the railed handguard and body as well as top notch internals including a tightbore barrel, ETU and HOP. If you're a fan of AK's and want to take the platform to the next level, this is the way to do it!
