Strike Industries P90 AEG
This one has got us all kinds of flustered! Following hot on the heels of the real steel, the EMG Strike Industries P90 AEG takes the now almost retro P90 and revamps it with 21st-century ergonomics and attachment interfaces.
The redesigned pistol grip makes the P90 far more comfortable to use over long durations, the extended handguard allows for a modern C-clamp grip (as demonstrated by Stu below) and the adjustable cheek riser provides a superb cheek weld, allowing optics of various heights to be used intuitively.

We aren't yet sure who is the OEM for this beastly looking space gat, though it is likely either Krytac or CYMA is behind it. When we know more, we won't be keeping it a secret!
Brownells BRN-180
Any real steel fan worth their salt will recognise this, though to many onlookers, this looks like yet another M4. A modernised hybrid of the AR-180 and the AR-15, the BRN-180 keeps the best aspects of AR-15 ergonomics and pairs it with the AR-18's piston-driven operating system, meaning it can ditch the buffer tube and make use of ultra-slick stocks for the 1913/20mm Picatinny interface.

Word on the street is that this will be a GBBR based on the Tokyo Marui MWS/ZET system which is fantastic news for those already running a ZET system GBBR; no need to buy new mags! This also means the BRN-180 should have fantastic gas efficiency and a broad aftermarket of spare and upgrade parts to support it. Just what a GBBR needs!
Daniel Defense DD PCC
Probably the best looking out of all the AR-15-based PCCs in our opinion, the Daniel Defense DD PCC has finally been shown off in Airsoft form! The real steel DD PCC makes use of a unique receiver design with familiar AR controls and takes CZ Scorpion EVO-style GBBR magazines, offering a more reliable feed source than Glock or Colt SMG magazines together with the legendary Daniel Defense quality throughout.

The Airsoft version is to be made by Double Eagle and licenced by DD through EMG and will hopefully be internally based on the TM ZET system, though of course, many parts will be uniquely designed for the DD PCC. The example we checked out was an early prototype so things may change before the DD PCC enters mass production but even the prototype felt fantastic! We can't wait to get our hands on the production version, hopefully soon!
Strike Industries P365 Optics Ready
Check this little cutie out! The Sig Sauer P365 is Sig's concealed carry pistol, a highly popular design in the US but yet to see its advent in Airsoft. This version of the P365 has been dressed up with a Strike Industries P365 Grip Module, optics-ready slide and enhanced mag release while staying small enough to (nearly) fit in the palm of Patrol Base Pete's hand.

This ultra-compact GBB pistol is officially licenced by Strike via EMG and is just one of the incredible Strike Industries pistols EMG has in store for us in 2025. If you're running a covert loadout or need a sidearm to back up your sidearm, stay tuned for the Strike Industries P365!

Grand Power STRIBOG SMG

The STRIBOG SMG is one of Grand Power's most popular platforms amongst US civilian shooters and it's easy to see why! Compact size, modern ergonomics, ambidextrous controls and plenty of modern attachment interfaces including M-LOK and a 1913/20mm Picatinny stock interface.

These attributes translate directly to the upcoming Delta Armory STRIBOG and should make it one lean, mean CQB machine!

Available in a polymer CHARLIE™ build with the advanced EAGLE™ MOSFET pre-installed or as a full metal and fully upgraded ALPHA™ model with 16:1 gears, CNC aluminium compression parts, a high torque motor and the EAGLE™ to top it off, the STRIBOG looks to be the hot SMG for 2025. Time to bin your MP5; the era of the STRIBOG is nigh!
New HPA Freya

One of the biggest hits of 2024, the Delta Armory FREYA Gen.2 just got even spicier! Delta Armory has joined the HPA game with its upcoming FREYA HPA, rocking a Gate Pulsar H (single solenoid) or D (dual solenoid) Engine and TITAN™ II or ASTER™ II MOSFET/ETU.

The FREYA's sleek skeletonised body has made it one of the more popular choices for HPA builds; soon, you can save yourself some hassle and money by grabbing a pre-built HPA FREYA!

The option of rocking the latest TITAN™ or ASTER™ 'fet provides unparalleled customisation options when it comes to fire modes, trigger sensitivity and fine-tuning and its HPA power source should give the FREYA HPA incredible performance, made even better with the pre-installed Delta Armory/Psionics Trinity flat HOP-up kit!
New Diamond Series AEGs
Another hot release for 2025 from Delta is its updated Diamond series M4/AR-15 AEGs, now equipped with Gate ASTER™ ETUs, flat HOP-up kits and brushless motors straight from the factory, available in a wide variety of shapes and colour options. The Specna Arms PRIME series better watch out!

Delta's new Diamond series uses the ALPHA™ construction standard, meaning a high-quality full-metal build with the unique Delta Armory receiver design in the mix. We expect the updated Diamond series will be rocking CNC steel 16:1 steel gears, CNC aluminium compression parts and a CNC POM piston head like the earlier Diamond AEGs but only time will tell!

New VORSK VMP-2 Variants
The VMP-2 has only just dropped, but VORSK are already announcing new variants of this fantastic modular GBBR! We checked out 4 exciting new variants, ranging from the TEC-9-a-like VMP-2 below to a chunky handguard version with battle rifle vibes.
The new VMP-2 variants will share the modular internals of the original versions but will now be outfitted with a 1913/20mm Picatinny stock interface for which VORSK intends to offer several stock options!

We don't have much in terms of specifics yet, but we can see a 1913/20mm Picatinny stock interface on the shorty pictured above, giving us access to more modern skeletonised stocks found on the Sig MPX and MCX or the option to leave the stock off entirely! This short version is known as the VMP-2C and will certainly be a foe to contend with in CQB scenarios!

If you like your VMP-2 short but not bite-sized, the VMP-2S should suit you well! A CQB-optimised VMP-2 which handles like a compact M4, the VMP-2S maintains the sleek looks of the original VMP-2 variants but is rocking a shorter front end along with the side-folding "pistol brace" style stock found on the VMP-1 mounted to the 1913/20mm Picatinny interface at the rear.

The VMP-2 pictured above evidences how the guys at VORSK take a walk on the wild side when it comes to aesthetics, offering unique looks nothing else can match. Marrying the barrel length of the VMP-2MD with a chonky LMG-sized handguard and fixed stock makes this the VMP-2 for long-range assaulter work!
Known as the VMP-2MCR, this "wild-card" build is definitely an exciting change to the VMP-2 range. We can picture it out in the woods on HPA, fulfilling the role of an LMG! Looks-wise, this is likely to be a divisive design but it's a great showcase of what can be done with the VMP-2's modularity, regardless!

Last, but potentially the most popular of the upcoming VMP-2 versions is the VMP-2SD, an integrally suppressed design with a shortened version of the menacing, squared handguard found on the VMP-2D DMR.
The SD is VORSK's gift to the stealthy skirmisher who loves the realism of a GBB primary, transforming it into a light and agile scout rifle equally at home in the woods as it is breaching rooms!
Some seriously slick stuff at IWA this year! Stay tuned for more intel in Airsoft at IWA Outdoor Classics 2025 Part 2 where we show off some slick kit from Novritsch, Double Eagle, Specna Arms, Double Bell, VFC and more!
