Delta Armory Direct Action Plate Carrier Vest

If you find yourself at the head of the pack and you take more than your fair share of hits, the Delta Armory Direct Action Plate Carrier Vest is designed with you in mind! Patterned after old-school soft armour/plate carrier combo rigs with some neat modern features, the Direct Action Plate Carrier provides far more coverage than the typical modern plate carrier and far more MOLLE attachment loops for pouches, holsters and other MOLLE equipment.

Inside the front MOLLE flap, we are treated to a hidden admin pouch secured with a steel snap button, giving you a slimline place to store maps and other objective-related paperwork. Lifting the front flap and disconnecting the cummerbund will also allow you to don the Direct Action plate carrier, an easy job even with MOLLE pouches mounted.

On the front and rear, we are treated to velcro sections which double as additional MOLLE loops, allowing you to mount Morale and I.D patches to give your carrier the personal touch. Each shoulder pad includes comms cable and hydration tube routing, keeping your cables neat and out of the way, avoiding any mid-skirmish tangles. The shoulder pads can also be removed to access the ride height adjustment beneath, taking the form of velcro which can be adjusted to suit practically any body type.

The pre-installed cummerbund is equipped with 3 rows of MOLLE attachment loops and a pocket for mock side plates on each side, meaning you can pad the Direct Action Plate Carrier out so you never feel the sting of a hit. Beneath the cummerbund, we have additional straps with polymer buckles, offering full adjustment to compliment the paracord adjustment of the elasticated cummerbund, guaranteeing a secure fit.

The front and rear plate bags can accept standard SAPI-style mock armour plates, though the built-in padding provides plenty of protection on its own. If it's a particularly hot day or you want to move faster, you can also remove the cummerbund entirely via the paracord at the rear and velcro at the front, providing more airflow to your sides at the small price of slightly reduced protection.

On the rear, the Direct Action Plate Carrier is equipped with a drag handle, designed in the real world to allow friendlies to drag a stricken soldier to cover for medical treatment. In an Airsoft skirmish, you'll never need this facility, thankfully, though the drag handle is a great way to carry your carrier from the car to the safe zone.
