Delta Armory 1-6X24IR LPVO Rifle Scope

If you're searching for an LPVO-style optic for your KS-1/L403A1 build, this is the best we've seen yet! The Delta Armory 1-6X24IR LPVO Rifle Scope is remarkably short for a "short dot" optic, measuring a mere 23.7cm approximately, making it a fantastic stand-in for the Vortex 1-10 LPVO used in the L900A1 optics suite used on the KS-1 rifle set to be issued to the Royal Marines and British Army in the not too distant future. 

The set includes a 30mm tube dual ring mount for 20mm Picatinny rails, pre-installed to save you the faff of mounting it perfectly. Also included is a CR2032 3V button cell, cleaning cloth, Allen key and a QR code user manual, along with a pair of pre-installed flip-up lens caps to keep your lenses clean when stored. As with any optic used for Airsoft, we recommend pairing this with a Lens Protector to avoid damage from BB impacts. 

Being an LPVO, the 1-6X24IR offers variable magnification between 1x and 6x via the magnification dial surrounding the eyebell at the rear, offering fast adjustment so you can keep pace with the rapidly changing skirmish environment. The 1x function isn't true 1x, being closer to 1.25 or 1.5 to our eyes, but is still useful for engaging sudden threats at close range, offering red dot sight-like engagement speed with the ability to zoom in to deal with more distant threats. 

On the left side, we can find the illumination adjustment turret which offers reticle colour selection and 5 different brightness settings for each colour. This allows you to run the 1-6X24IR illuminated with either a red or green glowing reticle for maximum visibility against different background palettes. The 5 brightness settings allow you to adjust the optic to provide the best possible clarity in any ambient lighting conditions but if you forgot to install a battery or it has run out, you can still use the mildot reticle without illumination. 

Windage and elevation adjustments are applied via the tool-less adjustment turrets on the right side and top respectively. To apply adjustments, simply lift the top of each turret, turn the dial to your desired position and pop the top back down again to lock the adjustment in place. The advantage of this turret style compared to the capped turrets of other scopes is that fast adjustments are easy to apply mid-game should conditions change, and unlike other tool-less turrets, the locking function means there is no chance you'll ruin your zero accidentally with a mid-game snag. 

Hidden beneath the pre-installed flip-up lens cap at the rear, we can find the fast focus adjustment dial. This allows you to adjust focus for different ranges and tune the optic to suit your eye. If you're taking a long-range shot and find the image is blurry, turn the dial and it will sharpen up. Likewise, if you've been viewing a long-range objective and turn to engage a target at close range, a quick turn of the dial will give you a perfect view of your target.
