Double Bell KAR98k Shell Ejecting

During World War 2, the KAR96k was  the primary German service rifle used throughout the war. Now Double Bell has crafted a functioning Airsoft replica that functions as good as it looks!

The body of the rifle is made from your choice of faux wood polymer or real wood, both look stunning, with the real wood variant of course having a more authentic feel to it. All other aspects of the Kar98K are made from Alloy or Steel, for a solid and well-weighted Rifle that clocks in at just over 3kg - comfortable enough for all-day use, but solid enough to feel very convincing against the shoulder.

To added to the authenticity, a mock cleaning rod is included, however this is purely for aesthetic purposes, as it it too big for the Airsoft barrel for as the real world rifle took 7.92 Mauser ammunition. 

Above the body of the rifle is the front closed ironsight working in tandem with the adjustable rear tangent sight located about the body and bolt of the rifle

The upper receiver features several markings authentic markings such as a serial number and '3024 MOD 98' Engraved along the top. A realistic front and rear sling point can be used in conjunction with a Kar98K style sling; however any type of sling could be used with some imagination / use of paracord.

The KAR98K feeds from an internal magazine which holds up to 5 shells, each of which can be loaded with a single BB. Each time the Bolt is cycled, a round is stripped from the magazine and chambered. When the trigger is pulled the piston is released and sends the BB down the barrel at ~400FPS (using 0.2g BBs). The inner barrel used is a 6.03mm precision Inner barrel which makes the use of barrel spacers to achieve greater precision and shot consistency. 

An adjustable HOP can be used to apply backspin to your BBs, adjusted by turning the screw underneath the rear iron sight with a flathead screw driver. At the top of the rifle, we can see adjustable ironsights which can be raised by squeezing the spring loaded tabs and sliding the assembly forward to raise the sight - this helps make longer range shots, provided you have the HOP Unit set to the appropriate range. A thumb-over safety can be found on the bolt assembly, which will prevent the trigger from being pulled when set; it cannot be moved unless the Bolted has been cycled.

This Double Bell KAR98K is an excellent replica of the classic German wartime firearm, sporting all the authentic aesthetics while keeping it lightweight with either a faux or real wood finish making this an ideal choice for any re-enactor or authentic gun lover!

Special Instructions

• This Airsoft Replica is Shell Ejecting and the inner workings are very delicate, as such is not recommended for skirmishing as the shells can easily be lost and the weapon is susceptible to breakage, this type of weapon is more suited for Re-enactors, Collectors and occasional careful back garden shooting.
• When the magazine is empty, the bolt should lock back. When this happens you simply need to pull the bolt back a little bit, then release the magazine.
