If you're the techy type and want to maximise your AEG's efficiency, the Bolster Armouries HOP-up to Barrel O-Ring Shim Set belongs in your toolbox! This set includes 10 o-rings designed to fit around the HOP-up unit and inner barrel, forcing it back to meet the gearbox as seamlessly as possible to promote maximum efficiency and reduce shot-to-shot FPS deviation. 

This set is designed to replace the "one size fits all" HOP-up unit spring, providing a user-customisable solution to account for manufacturing tolerances. While this will take a bit of trial and error to get the perfect fit for your AEG it should prevent airseal qualities from reducing over time and avoid that annoying realisation that you forgot to reinstall the HOP-up spring after upgrading or maintenance! 

The Bolster Armouries HOP-up to Barrel O-Ring Shim set should fit almost every AEG on the market and you probably won't need to use the full set, meaning you might even be able to replace two HOP-up springs with a single set.

Firstly, it has been constructed from a reinforced polymer, one that can pull stronger springs without causing damage to itself. It also has a drop-in angle of engagement (AOE) which helps distribute the force evenly on the teeth of the piston rack, reducing the risk of premature wear or breakage.

The stress points of the piston have been revised to spread the wear between 3 contact points and drastically reduce the load on each tooth. The Airtech Studios Set of 4 Spring Shims;10mm Inner Diameter are designed for most Tokyo Marui spec spring guides. These reinforced polymer shims slide onto the spring guide and add additional tension to the existing spring within the gearbox. The different sizes of shim add different amounts of FPS to your replica. The smallest shim adds roughly 5 FPS to your replica and the largest adds roughly 20 FPS. The shims are designed to be of various sizes so that you can combine them and find the optimal FPS increase to keep your replica within site limits.

These shims give you an easy way to increase your platform's FPS without having to have multiple springs. Simply add or remove the shims as and when you need to adjust your AEGs FPS, with minimal hassle!

The Airtech Studios Retro Arms Rotary Centring Unit is an easy upgrade to improve your AEG's accuracy. It is constructed from high-density polymer and fits a RetroArms CNC Rotary HOP-Up Chamber Gen.2 ONLY. It prevents the hop-up unit from wobbling side to side. Once fitted, the Retro arms Rotary HOP-Up Chamber will be securely fitted in place and sit in its true centre position, which prevents BBs from swerving at a tangent when shot.

As well as removing the wobbling from your HOP-up chamber, it also provides a better air seal due to the improved tightness of the system, resulting in a more stable FPS output from your AEG. While the power upgrades for shooting BBs further are significant, they wouldn't be effective without accuracy. If you're building an AEG for maximum longevity and consistency, the Laylax Black Hop-up Rubber - Extra Soft will be an asset to your operaation. This HOP-up bucking is extra soft, making it ideal for full auto assault rifles, and is extra effective when paired with an OMEGA or OHM HOP-up nub.
