If you like a sneaky-beaky setup, the Ares Amoeba AM-013 Honey Badger M4/AR-15 AEG should suit your style perfectly. This M4/AR-15 AEG is an integrally suppressed design, meaning it has a suppressor pre-installed beneath the handguard, reducing the overall length and keeping the platform CQB-friendly. A unique design inspired by the real steel Q Honey Badger, the Amoeba AM-13 is about as unique as AR platforms get and makes a fantastic primary for a futuristic or ultra-modern loadout.
Inside, we have a version 2 gearbox with an alloy shell and 18:1 steel gears and the EFCS MOSFET/ETU system which offers programmable fire modes via the Ares EFCS programming box(not included). The EFCS works using magnets to detect the cycle of the spur gear, ensuring your gearbox completes a full cycle each time the trigger is pressed. If you need a new AR platform with stealthy styling, the Ares Amoeba AM-013 Honey Badger M4/AR-15 AEG; Full Length is exactly that!

Description
Known for being seen in Call Of Duty and on numerous "guntuber" Youtube channels, the Ares Amoeba AM-013 Honey Badger M4/AR-15 AEG; Full Length rifle is inspired by the real steel Q (formerly AAC) Honey Badger, an integrally suppressed M4/AR-15 rifle chambered in .300 Blackout.
Inside, the AM-13 is rocking the Ares EFCS gearbox, meaning with the Ares EFCS programming box (available separately) you can set the fire controls for burst mode replacing either semi or full auto, and semi-auto only for DMR duty or super strict CQB sites.
The gearbox itself is a standard version 2, compatible with aftermarket upgrades and ready to rock with steel 18:1 ratio gears. The trigger is a "micro-switch" trigger, offering a longer lifespan than conventional copper contacts along with a snappier response in semi-auto. If you're into the Honey Badger look and don't want to go through the hassle of sourcing parts and building your own, the Ares Amoeba AM-13 Honey Badger M4/AR-15 AEG; Full Length is the easiest solution!
Starting at the front, we can find the lengthy integral suppressor, mostly hidden beneath the aluminium handguard. The suppressor comes with a polymer orange tip pre-installed, but fear not! Inside the box, an alloy front cap finished in lovely black is provided to complete the realistic look. The outer barrel itself is extremely short and features 14mm CW threading at the tip, meaning if you want to switch the suppressor for a tracer you can provided your tracer is 14mm CW compatible. If not, use a 14mm CW to 14mm CCW adapter and you can mount any 14mm CCW muzzle device.
The handguard itself is equipped with a unique negative space attachment system, allowing you to position the included 20mm Picatinny rail sections and hand stops wherever you need them. Pre-installed on the handguard, we have a long 20mm Picatinny rail at 6 o'clock and a short 20mm Pic rail on the top, fitted with the front flip-up iron sight.
The hand stops are installed on the top and bottom, right at the front, intended to prevent you from overshooting the handguard with your reaction hand and shooting your fingers accidentally. The set also includes an additional short 20mm Picatinny rail, and a medium length 20mm Picatinny rail, both of which can be positioned wherever you need them, including the offset angles.
The receiver is a unique design, modernised in almost every aspect. The layout of the controls mimics the common M4/Ar-15 layout but the magazine release is enlarged to allow for easy reloads under pressure. The fire selector switch is on the left side, sitting directly beneath the shooter's thumb when the AM-13 is held in a firing grip. The charging handle is at the top rear of the receiver, and when pulled back, provides access to the rotary HOP-up unit. The HOP-up allows you to adjust the amount of backspin applied to your BBs and tune the Honey Badger for different ammo weights, looking for the flattest possible trajectory.
Running along the top of the receiver, we have a 20mm Picatinny rail, meaning you can mount a scope or red dot sight straight away. The rear iron sight is pre-installed on the receiver rail, providing full adjustment for windage and elevation and two aiming apertures to choose from. Both the front and rear sight can be deployed by hand, with no buttons to press, and are removable if you prefer to spray and pray, or want to use an optical sight.
Bringing up the rear, we come to the unique PDW stock of the AM-13, styled to match the real steel Q Honey Badger. The stock offers 2 positions of adjustment and when the buttons on each side are pressed the stock will spring open for fast deployment. The stock base also includes a sling point on the bottom, ideally suited to a single-point sling. If you find your sling is a bit of a tight fit, add a paracord loop or keyring for more flexibility.
The stock base also serves as the battery compartment of the AM-13, ideally suited to PEQ style block batteries. To access the battery compartment, simply press the tabs on the top and bottom and the rear of the stock base should come free. Inside, you will find a mini-Tamiya battery connector to which you mount your battery of choice. We recommend a 7.4V 1300mAh LiPo battery in block configuration for an easy fit and great performance.

Joule Charts
Special Instructions
These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.
FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
Tap the tabs below to open the relevant chart for your replica.
This table should be used for reference, and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, and is the equivalent of 350fps, using 0.20g BB resulting in an upper limit of 1.14j.
