The mag is constructed with a high-density polymer shell and alloy internals and can be loaded through the feed lips at the top of the mag body with a speed loader, preferably one with a GBB adapter. The gas fill valve is on the rear of the magazine, just below the knocker valve, and the mag is compatible with both green gas and red gas.

The design of the externals is down to Double Eagle themselves, who have added an over-insertion stop at the front of the magazine to prevent the feed lips from being damaged after a reload under pressure. On each side of the body, there is also anti-slip dot texture to prevent the magazine from being dropped and the front of the mag also features finger grooves so it can be used as a makeshift grip when shooting from unconventional positions.

This magazine is a mid cap variant, meaning that it holds a medium amount and is filled at the top using a speed loader. Unlike high-cap mags there is no 'battle rattle' so if you're a more sneaky type of player mid-cap mags are for you.

The fill valve is located on the base of the magazine and as with all Airsoft gas mags, the mag needs to be inverted to be filled with gas. Loading BBs can be done through the feed lips at the top, or by dragging the follower on the front down and loading through the widened channel at the bottom. A speed loader makes this much easier but isn't required. Being the V1 version, this mag is not compatible with the Novritsch CNC baseplates and uses a single-stage valve.

You shouldn't need to reload often when sniping, unless you are a bad shot! Regardless of this, it's always wise to have a spare mag on hand for extended skirmishes rather than panic under fire trying to load BBs as the enemies BBs shower down upon you!
