Description
Replicating the real CGS SCI-6 suppressor, the Airsoft Artisan SCI-6 Style Suppressor w/ 3-Prong Flash Hider is flawlessly made and well-suited to any build with a modern leaning. The SCI-6 is made from a combination of CNC aluminium and steel, giving it strength where needed and absolutely immaculate machining throughout.
The set includes the suppressor itself and an equally beautiful tri-prong flash hider with a uniquely aggressive, snub-nosed design. The flash hider includes large threads around its circumference as part of the SCI-6 QD mechanism, allowing you to quickly remove the suppressor to shorten up your primary to clear tight corners. The collar of the suppressor containing the female threads is also steel, guaranteeing a lifetime of reliable locking and almost no chance the threading will ever wear out.
The SCI-6 suppressor also includes fluting on its outer surface, giving it a touch of style most standard cylindrical suppressors can only dream of. The fluting also provides a gripping surface for suppressor removal, allowing you to ditch your suppressor when needed, even in a mid-skirmish downpour. Behind the fluting, we can find a hexagonal section designed for cracking the suppressor down with a wrench, though this is absolutely unnecessary for Airsoft levels of recoil. We suggest using your hands to avoid marring the SCI-6's beautiful anodised finish!
The SCI-6 can also be disassembled by unscrewing the front aperture and included in the box is an aluminium tube designed to centre an extended inner barrel inside the SCI-6, should you choose to take your build in a long-range direction. Also included is a spacer for a tracer module measuring approximately 34mm in diameter, should you feel the need to light the enemy up while you light them up!
