The rig is fitted with mock ballistic plates that provide rigidity, support and protection from hits (along with a good WHACK sound when it's hit). The magazine pouches are secured by velcro & elastic, meaning they stay shut tight when empty and your magazines can't fall out when inserted. The rig is adorned with MOLLE loops to the front, rear and sides, meaning you can expand on this already good to go rig with even more pouches, provided they're MOLLE compatible. The cummerbund elasticated sides make this rig very easy to fit and pull tight on yourself, and thanks to the low profile nature of the rig your arms have much more freedom of movement that some other rigs. The shoulders are fully velcro adjustable, meaning you will be able to get the rig to sit comfortably regardless of your shape or size. The shoulders also have velcro retention loops that would be ideal for routing wires/hoses/hydration lines. At the top front of the rig there are several velcro fronted MOLLE loops that will allow you to attach patches/name slides etc. or attach more pouches to them. The mock ballistic plates are included and are also removable for machine washing and/or comfort when wearing.
