- Licensed by Noveske through EMG
If AR-9s are your style, it doesn't get much better than this! This is a near-perfect replica of the real steel Noveske "Space Invader" Pistol, with all the trademarks and logos to match. AR-9s are the happy medium between a pistol and a rifle, being compact and easy to manoeuvre but boasting a much larger magazine capacity and range due to the longer barrel.
The "Space Invader" boasts an SDU 2.0 MOSFET and eSilver Gearbox, which greatly improve this AEG's consistency, performance and trigger response. Beautiful looks and premium internals make for an incredible AEG and the Noveske nails that. If you need a compact CQB platform for running indoor skirmish fields, the EMG Noveske "Space Invader" Gen.4 PDW AR-9 AEG will be your best friend.

Description
"Space Invader" is an odd name for a firearm, those aliens must have some pretty awesome tastes! Noveske is well-known and well-respected by firearm enthusiasts, their slogan represents their attitude well, “the All-American Badass Rifle Company”. They have been influential in the market, creating and pioneering the KeyMod attachment system which later became the industry and military standard.
This EMG version has the slick looks of the real thing, combined with full metal construction. It is also kitted out on the inside with some amazing internals including the SDU 2.0 MOSFET and eSilver Gearbox. Consider this the more realistic alternative to other AR-9 platforms like the Specna X-series and G&G ARP-9. If you want more realism in an AR-9 platform, a licensed Noveske SMG would be a great pick!
The SDU 2.0 MOSFET allows for programmable firing modes which can be adjusted using the button on the inside the magazine well. You can scroll between different preset modes of various combinations including semi, full auto and different amounts of bursts.
Starting at the front of this AEG, we find a unique silver outer barrel with a preinstalled thread protector. The outer barrel features a tri-lug muzzle device mounting system, which allows you to mount QD muzzle devices such as a suppressor. However, don't worry, this AR-9 also features 14mm CCW threading underneath the thread protector, so you can attach your regular muzzle devices.
Moving onto the handguard, there are sections of 20mm Picatinny rail at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions, this allows for extended scope setups up top and under barrel launchers or grips along the bottom section. At the 3 and 9 o'clock positions on the handguard, there are two sections of MLOK attachment interface, this allows for additional rail sections to be attached or attachments which use the modern attachment interface such as flashlights.
The top section of the Picatinny rail joins seamlessly with the receiver top rail, this is perfect for scope setups which include a sight and a magnifier, or if you have other mission essentials that you mount on your top rail such as PEQ boxes. At the rear of this rail take note of the extended charging handle, this is identical to the real steel platform, showing EMGs attention to detail when crafting this Airsoft replica.
When the charging handle is pulled, the mock bolt carrier will retract and reveal the gear HOP-up unit within the mock ejection port. The gear HOP-up unit can be adjusted by hand and allows you to tune your replica to provide optimum range and a stable flight path with various weights of BBs. When you have adjusted your HOP-up you can release the charging handle and this will return the mock bolt with a satisfying clank, keeping dust and debris out of this sensitive internal part, even if you like the odd mud bath at your local woodland site!
The receiver should be a familiar sight to anyone who has handled an AR-9 before. The fire selector is ambidextrous and accessible on both sides for left or right-handed shooters. It also sports the classic paddle ambidextrous magazine release, however, it also has a classic M4 magazine release on the right side, so if your muscle memory is for M4s, you should still be able to wield this AEG with ease.
The pistol grip is a modern ergonomic design and is very comfortable to hold, retaining the original M4/AR15 grip angle but with a filled-out backstrap to keep your hand firmly in place and bevelled edges to reduce "hot spots" which cause irritation during longer firing sessions. The grip has linear texture on the front and back strap for extra grip, ensuring it doesn't accidentally fly out your hand mid-skirmish.
The stock is based on the real steel platform and functions like a PDW stock, complete with a bronze textured adjustment button to easily alter the position for comfort. The QD sockets are found on either side of the PDW-style buffer tube and a QD sling point is included with the replica, allowing you to mount this platform using a sling. The polymer butt plate of the stock features a Velcro strap so you can attach it to your arm if you want to run this "Space Invader" pistol using just one hand.
The battery compartment is inside the PDW buffer tube, meaning battery space is a bit tight inside this "Space Invader". Accessing the battery compartment only requires that you knock out the pin at the bottom of the buffer tube with the stock at its longest position, once done, you can remove the cap. On the inside, you will find a Deans battery connector, providing lower resistance and higher electrical efficiency than the more common mini-Tamiya connector. For this Noveske AR-9, we recommend a 7.4V 600mAh PDW Battery.
Just like its external look, the Noveske "Space Invader" is just as fancy when it comes to internals. The well-regarded eSilver Gearbox has been installed inside, offering a microswitch trigger, a quick change spring system with a strengthened spring guide design with built-in bearings, 8mm bushings and a bearing-equipped piston head to guarantee smooth cycling and minimal stress transferred to the internal parts. The microswitch trigger works together with the SDU 2.0 MOSFET to provide an impressive trigger response, to the extent that you can hammer the trigger and almost reach full auto like speeds!
The internal surfaces of the gearbox have been polished and buffed, saving you a job if you ever decide to push the "Space Invader" even further with internal upgrades which is entirely possible thanks to the gearbox's Tokyo Marui compatibility. The SDU 2.0 also allows for programmable fire modes, meaning you can set this AEG up for bursts of varying duration by swapping a "burst" mode for either semi-auto or full-auto. The best part is, that it can all be programmed using the gun itself. Read the Special Instructions to learn more about the programming.
If you want some licensed style and prefer something a little more compact for your operations, the EMG Noveske "Space Invader" Gen.4 PDW AR-9 AEG is an excellent choice for you. It boasts sexy looks and a seductive performance, once you've tried this platform, you won't be able to look at another AR-9 the same.

Joule Charts
Special Instructions
These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.
FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
Tap the tabs below to open the relevant chart for your replica.
This table should be used for reference, and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, and is the equivalent of 350fps, using 0.20g BB resulting in an upper limit of 1.14j.
