The EMG Daniel Defense RIS III 12.5" M-LOK Handguard is officially licenced by Daniel Defense via EMG, boasting licenced trademarks across the design and flawlessly imitating the profile of the real DD RIS III handguard.
The RIS III handguard is an advancement from the DD RIS II, the handguard seen on the iconic MK18 MOD.1 rifle used by the US Navy SEALs, Delta and all the other big names in the US Armed Forces. The RIS III saves weight by using M-LOK slots on the side and bottom but retains the military style two-piece construction, designed to allow an M203 Grenade Launcher to be mounted with the lower segment removed.
Up top, we have a full length 20mm Picatinny rail, ready for your lasers, flashlights or other tactical dodads and on the sides and bottom, M-LOK negative space attachment slots, ready for your choice of M-LOK accessories or 20mm Picatinny rail adapters. Like other M4/AR-15 handguards, you'll need an AR-15 Armourers wrench to install this and the set includes the correct barrel nut to mount it. If your AR is a bit on the heavy side and aging rapidly, the EMG Daniel Defense RIS III 12.5" M-LOK Handguard will give it a spritely, energetic feeling and modernise it to the cutting edge!
