Description

RAVEN are back and better than ever, this time offering another massively popular platform Gas Pistol without the eye-watering price tag. Forget everything you know about the brand, this sidearm has left us speechless after several rounds of testing, making us think this could be a game changing replica.

The slide is made from a tough but lightweight Aluminium Alloy which is put together exceptionally well, holding tight to the rails with no wobble or creaks. The slide is coupled with a strong recoil spring which makes for an alarming amount of recoil/blowback which doesn't seem to negatively affect consistency/performance in any way shape or form. The top of the slide features a set of low-light ironsights which will 'amplify' ambient light and make it easier to aim in the dark, as well as looking awesome. On the underside of the frame is a 20mm Pistol Rail which will accept all kinds of accessories from Flashlights and Lasers to Pistol Grenade Launchers. The design is a traditional Hi-Capa layout which offers an extended Slide Release for easy operation and quicker reloads, as well as both a Slide Lock and Beavertail Safety which will ensure that you cannot fire the Pistol unless it is being held properly. The Pistol Grip is a one-piece design which is made from a rubberised Polymer which feels very good in the hands, and offers ample grip even when wearing gloves. The Outer Barrel is threaded for the installation of Suppressors, Tracer Units and other Muzzle Devices. The thread is a female 12mm CCW design, and will require a Thread Adapter to install most Muzzle Devices. These pistols are available in an absolutely massive range of colours and offers something for everyone.

The included magazine has a 25rnd capacity and a tremendous gas reservoir thanks to the large design. The pistol has been tested to accept WE, Armorer Works, Tokyo Marui, Vorsk, Army Armament Hi-Capa magazines as well as its own magazine, which is again compatible in all those brands as well.

Included in the box is the 25rnd Gas Magazine, an Instruction Manual, exploded diagram, PVC RAVEN Patch as well as a CO2 Nozzle and O-Rings to convert the pistol to being CO2 ready. However, with the performance on Green Gas being so good, we feel there will be no need. If you're looking for a Hi-Capa platform replica which performs well in all situations and doesn't cost an arm and a leg, then there really is no other choice besides the Raven Hi-Capa 5.1 Gas Blowback series.

Special Instructions

The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
