Description
The T-Eagle Holo MOD.VI Red Dot Sight replicates the classic holographic sight design we all know well from video games, movies and TV. Offering a multi-functional reticle providing two dots for precise shooting with an outer ring for rapid close-ranged work, the Holo MOD.VI allows you to engage targets at close range very quickly using only the outer ring, or take more precise long-range shots using the central dot, provided you zeroed your sight before the game!
The Holo MOD.VI smaller form factor requires less rail space to mount than other larger sight setups, making it perfect for short-barrelled setups with limited rail space and more slender platforms. This holographic red dot provides the usual red dot functions, including its rear-facing controls, integral 20mm Picatinny rail mount and multiple brightness levels with the choice of red or green illumination.
Zero adjustment is provided by a pair of adjustment screws on the right side of the optic, recessed into its alloy protective hood. The front screw controls left-right adjustment (windage) and the rearmost screw provides elevation adjustment. The controls are located on the rear of the optic, with the "NV" button above the arrow keys functioning to change the reticle colour from Red to Green and the up and down arrow buttons allowing for brightness adjustment, with 5 brightness settings for both colour options.
The Holo MOD.VI features an alloy protective hood surrounding the sight's delicate lenses and electronics, giving it some additional drop protection to cover you for skirmish clumsiness. The battery compartment is positioned at the front and designed for four LR44 button cells. To open the battery compartment, all you need to do is lift the throw lever on the top of the sight and the battery cover can be lifted free.
Mounting the Holo MOD.VI is simple, loosen off the thumb screw on the left side of the mount, position your sight where you like it and tighten it down, either by hand or using a flathead screwdriver. While the Holo style of red dot sight is one of the more robust designs used for Airsoft, we always recommend using a Lens Protector to keep the lens safe from incoming BBs.
