Description
The Specna Arms SA-A90 Airsoft Assault Rifle is powered by electric, and has several features that make it ideal for outdoor/woodland skirmishes; however it is more than happy to hold its' own in CQB environments. The Handguard and Receiver are made from an Aluminium/Zinc Alloy combination, and the metal has been Sand Blasted, Powder Coated and them Anodised for a truly award-winning finish. The external 'trim' parts of the rifle such as the fire selector and screws etc are made from Steel to ensure a long-lasting finish and lifespan. Where Polymer has been used (Pistol Grip & Stock), they are high density Polymers which are one of the finest examples of Polymers on an Airsoft replica.
The front of the rifle is fitted with a 14mm CCW thread which, once the flash hider is removed, will let you install Suppressors, Tracer Units and other muzzle devices to your pride and joy. The Handguard is an interesting combination of KeyMod, 20mm RIS and a proprietary mounting system, with the top rail being 20mm, the side and lower rail being the proprietary system and the rails at 45 degrees being KeyMod. This gives you an insanely wide choice of connection options; very useful for when you find an accessory you love, but it's only available in a certain connection type. There is also a QD sling socket on both sides of the Handguard at the Receiver end, which means you can effortlessly attach and removed a Quick Detach sling for rapid transitions and quicker handover to Marshals. The receiver has a top 20mm rail which is ready to accept any compatible sights, scopes or accessories. Out of the box a set of flip-up adjustable ironsights are pre-installed to this rail. The rear solid stock is a welcome treat to those with a lead trigger finger, as this is probably the biggest battery space you will get on an Airsoft replica. It is accessed by releasing the door on the rear of the stock, placing your battery inside and connecting it to the Mini-Tamiya connector. There is a standard sling loop on the rear of the stock for traditional slings.
The Specna Arms SA-A90 Airsoft replica features their own brand of quick release system called Enter & Convert™, which makes changing your main spring much quicker than standard AEGs. Whilst the gearbox still needs to be removed to access the quick change spring, not having to disassemble the gearbox will save you a world of frustration and disapproving *tuts* from the other half as your replica is split into its' exploded diagram on the living room rug.
Inside the gearbox the quality only continues as you will find Steel gears and spring guide, 8mm bearings and a total of four anti-reversal latches to prevent your gears from turning back on themselves. The icing on the cake is a metal HOP chamber, which is much strong that its' Polymer counterparts.
Included in the box is a 300rnd high capacity Steel-made magazine, which features lovely government/law enforcement use markings. You will also find a cleaning rod for assisting barrel cleaning (remember to turn HOP off completely before inserting into the barrel) and a ID Lanyard.
If you're looking for a rock-solid AR platform rifle which has the battery capacity to go all day, and with some better than standard internals and a delicious external build quality, this is the one for you.

Special Instructions:
The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.

Special Instructions
These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.
FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.

This table should be used for reference, and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
