Description
This new PTS EPM designed for the Tokyo Marui NGRS system follows the same format as the previous EPM magazines, being constructed of rock-solid Dupont Zytel for unparalleled strength and crush resistance with a design which is both visually pleasing and functionally effective. The magazine uses the same high-vis orange follower as other EPMs, and sports the same high feed speed which is sure to keep up with even the fastest builds without any misfeeds.
The outer shell of the EPM is extremely robust, with no signs of flex whatsoever. The front and rear of the magazine include a useful stippled texture, ensuring you get a positive grip on your magazine, whether you are drawing it from a pouch for a reload or using it as a makeshift grip. On either side of the magazine we are treated to mock witness windows, through which we can see realistic dummy cartridges, making this magazine hard to distinguish from a real one, and giving your NGRS AEG a more convincing look.
The base plate of the magazine is removable for maintenance, and features a rubberised extension designed for use with a technique known as "mag-podding". This technique involves using the magazine as a monopod of sorts, assisting the shooter in stabilising the weapon and facilitating firing from a rested position for better accuracy and reduced fatigue.
This magazine is also compatible with the TM "bolt stop" system, meaning that when your magazine runs dry the additional follower at the rear of the magazine will trip the switch inside your NGRS rifle, and disable it. With a fresh magazine inserted and the bolt release button pressed you can go on shooting with the satisfaction of a realistic reload!
