JJ Airsoft DK-9 Red Dot Sight For 20mm Picatinny Rail

The JJ Airsoft DK-9 is a close replica of the real thing, a modern Russian red dot sight seen on AKs wielded by Spetsnaz GRU and other elite units using AK platforms as primary weapons. The DK-9 has a built-in 20mm Picatinny mount, meaning you can mount it to almost any Airsoft gun out there straight away, and offers 6 brightness settings for the red dot reticle so you can set it up to suit the ambient light level.

The brightness settings can be adjusted via the rotary switch at the rear right of the unit and locks positively in place with each adjustment increment. The battery compartment is located inside the same cylindrical protrusion on the right side of the sight and is accessible through the front. 1 x AA cell is required to run the sight, meaning batteries are ever available and super affordable, and the DK-9 includes a single AA cell pre-installed to get you started!

The DK-9 is adjustable for both windage and elevation as one might expect, and the adjustment turrets are located on the top and the right side of the unit. These are capped adjustment turrets with a built-in adjustment tool, meaning to adjust you will need to unscrew the cap and then invert it to use it as a tool to turn the internal dial.

Alternatively, you can use a flathead screwdriver to apply your adjustments after the caps have been unscrewed. Capped turrets have the benefit that the turrets are not susceptible to being knocked during dynamic movements and messing with your zero, and that the sight is more effectively sealed against dust, dirt and debris than others.

Included in the box are a lens cleaning cloth so you can keep the sight clear and ready to use and a kill flash device which threads into the front of the sight and covers the objective lens to reduce glare and avoid the sunlight giving your position away. The kill flash should also provide a certain amount of BB protection but it is not designed for this task and will probably only survive one or two BB hits (lens protector recommended).

The DK-9 is robust and effective, and its distinctly Russian styling pairs well with any AK rifle with a 20mm top rail but can be mounted on any 20mm Picatinny rail equipped platform with absolute ease!
