Unusually for an SMG-5 in this price range is the all Alloy construction, which has resulted in this being one of the most accurately weighted, heavy AEG SMG-5 replicas we've ever handled. Not only does this replica look like an SMG-5 should, it also handles as one would expect. This particular variant also features the iconic Collapsing Sliding Stock of the A3 design. With a simple tug on the lever, the Stock Telescopes down, turning the SMG-5 into an incredibly compact and practical SMG, ideal for use in tight CQB environments, allowing Airsofters Breach and Clear rooms with ease. Additionally this SMG-5 correctly features the original Selector Set, capable Semi and Fully Automatic fire of the SMG-5A3, rather than the 3 round burst of the 'NAVY' Set. The sights are the standard, Tried and Tested HK type Rotary Drum design, which offer users a system which allows for rapid and easy acquisition of targets, in a wide range of situations. Please note that although the Charging Handle is capable of being moved, we strongly advise users to not attempt the iconic 'Charging Handle Slap' action; the Airsoft gun is not intended to be handled in this manner.

The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
