Also included in the box is a set of outer barrel shims to completely eliminate wobble, allowing the L403A1 handguard to be paired with a wide variety of barrels on PTW, GBBR and AEG M4/AR-15 platforms. Description
The Airsoft Artisan 13" L403A1 M-LOK Handguard for M4/AR-15 AEG / GBB / PTW is exactly what you need to replicate the latest British Army service rifle, the L403A1/KS-1. The L403A1 is currently in the trials and development stage but is slated to be issued to the UKSF and Royal Marine Commandos to supplement and eventually replace the iconic SA80/L85 and L119A1 rifles.
The upper surface of the L403A1 handguard is equipped with a sharply machined 20mm Picatinny rail which will align with your receiver rail perfectly, giving you plenty of space to deck your build out like a real KS-1 in the field. At the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions, we have M-LOK negative space attachment slots with additional slots at the offset angles, giving you unparalleled flexibility in where you mount your M-LOK mission essentials.
The handguard also includes the URX6-specific gas block cutout at the "mid-length" position and correctly deletes the QD sling points of the URX4, making it a perfect match for the real L403A1 handguard. The only difference we can find is that the Artisan L403A1 handguard uses an integral barrel nut like the URX4 but the real URX6 reportedly uses a separate nut. From the outside, you simply cannot tell the difference but the integral nut will definitely save you trouble during installation!
