Description

Action Army have been providing Airsoft Snipers with upgrades for their VSR-10 platform rifles for many years and their parts are well regarded for their combination of affordability. Enter the T11 rifle series, Action Army's highly upgradable, modular and unique VSR platform, intended to provide the Airsoft Sniper a modern and robust place to start on their journey. Compatible with all the Action Army upgrades and any other parts for the TM VSR-10, the T11 series provide well-finished metal components and a solid re-enforced polymer chassis and stock packed with modular features. It includes QD sling points, Picatinny bipod rail and railed receiver for adding a Scope, all components which are not included with the TM VSR-10.

The unique aspect of the T-11 Shorty is its ultra-short outer barrel, and lack of a stock. Why would you want a rifle with no stock?  Allow me to clarify! The T-11 Shorty was designed for unconventional sniping, such as CQB sniping and counter sniping. For use in CQB, no one would recommend a spring bolt action rifle, but the buttery smooth and light bolt throw of the T-11 makes using this indoors a very real possibility. If you fancy yourself a CQB master and the fastest gun around, this rifle could offer you a bit of a challenge without making getting kills impossible. Just get practising your mad-minute like a Tommy with an Enfield, you can fire this thing that fast with some work!

The second role the T-11 Shorty will excel at is counter sniping. If you have ever been at a woodland skirmish and been pinned down by a sniper who has range over you, you will appreciate how useful having a sniper in your squad can be. If you are separated from your squad in this situation and you aren't the squad's designated marksman, you are in trouble. Or maybe not! The T11's lack of a stock makes it compact enough to carry on your back, either on a sling or in a shotgun back scabbard.

If you feel ghillie-suited eyes on you, the T-11 Shorty allows you to engage the enemy sniper with a near-peer rifle whilst not limiting your own or your squad's firepower. With the weight being under 2kg, you will likely not notice the weight of the T11 Shorty on top of other kit. The magazines are tiny, so you won't need any additional load-bearing equipment to carry ammo for this rifle. With a micro red dot installed, you could really give some enemy snipers a surprise. Counter sniping, an oft forgotten role but essential to a mobile, agile and hostile Airsoft team!

Overall the rifle is constructed from polymer, making it a super lightweight rifle which is great for those snipers who need to reposition a lot. The body of the gun features a range of nice ergonomic enhancements making for simple handling such as the exchangeable pistol grip with a hand-shaped moulding, allowing the user to get a comfy grip and keep their finger on the trigger when it matters. The front end of the body features a 20mm underside rail, which can be used to either fit a Bipod or a Foregrip, your choice! The hop adjustment slider can be found on the left side of the aluminium outer barrel. The bolt handle has been extended to make it easy to grab in any condition, and the trigger guard is enlarged for use with gloves. Inside the dummy magazine, you will find a handy set of Allen keys for adjustment and disassembly of the rifle.

Do note that the gun features both a real magazine and a mock magazine, the mock magazine sticks out of the gun where the mag would normally be, and the real magazine is inserted into the body underneath and does not protrude. The Mock magazine has no function in regards to loading / feeding the gun however it is a small storage box for the assembly tool kit! Other than that it is simply for looks!
