Warhead Industries Ronin CNC Brushless Motor; Long Shaft

You've probably heard of the Warhead Industries CNC Black Brushless motor, often regarded as the best of the best when it comes to AEG motors. This, the Ronin CNC Brushless Motor is the next step up, boasting all of the impressive features of the CNC Black but with several improvements focussed on improving efficiency and longevity.

When compared to the CNC Black, the Ronin boasts a titanium shaft assembly which is lighter and stronger than the steel shaft of the CNC Black. The internal magnets have been upgraded, selected for their top-notch quality and high strength. The rotor has also been treated to weight reduction, improving efficiency, reducing wear and tear and providing equivalent torque and speed for a far smaller current draw.

The Ronin is named for its stator winding process, or rather, the individual doing the winding! All Ronin motors are hand wound, just like the CNC Black, but unlike the Black, the Ronin stators are wound by a stator winding expert with over 20 years of experience at the Warhead Industries factory. This guarantees top-tier performance, efficiency and power, but since only one dude is doing the winding, these motors are in very limited supply!

Like the CNC Black, the Ronin is equipped with an ESC (electronic speed control) module which can be replaced easily thanks to its modular design. This circuit controls and regulates the speed of the motor while providing low voltage cut-off and over-current-draw protection, providing an additional level of safety and keeping your battery healthy.

The pre-installed spade connectors are hard-wired, making motor installation a bit easier than the CNC Black and giving you more flexibility when it comes to how you route the wiring. The spade connectors (known as "power tabs" by Warhead) are covered with heat shrink as supplied and you will need to carefully remove the heat shrink before installing the Ronin. Please note, the spade connectors of the Ronin and other brushless motor designs are a bit more delicate than standard brushed motor spade connectors. We suggest being very careful when working with them to avoid damage. 

The housing is CNC machined from 7075 aluminium and finished in red, with externals adorned with the Warhead Industries logo and "RONIN" on the stator wind. The shaft shroud is also CNC'd from aluminium and finished in black, adding some contrast to the design. It really is a shame that the high-end aesthetic is hidden inside, but the performance of a Ronin-equipped AEG will definitely be evident to onlookers!

Compatibility-wise, the Ronin is a long shaft motor, meaning it will work with standard M4/AR-15, SMG-5, G3 and P90 AEGs. Being an insanely high-performance motor regardless of whether you go for the 31K or 45K RPM version, you will need a decent level of technical proficiency to install the Ronin and some in-depth knowledge of the other internal parts you will need to upgrade to withstand the Ronin's insane speed and torque. The set includes the motor itself, a D-type pinion gear, a pinion spring and shaft housing and will require manual assembly.
